I've never been on any type of birth control and my period is very consistent since I was 9 years old... now I'm 24 and considering not taking any since I'm getting married next summer because I do struggle with depression and I've been trying to lose weight and the pill will ruin everything I feel :/

So boom, depo made me gain CRAZY weight. I also believe that it contributed massively to my mental instability today. I think it drove me crazy fr. I don't want any more kids attal. However, I'm against birth control. Af. I just can't.
Edit: Also your body eventually gets used to the birth control and shit stabilizes (kind of 🙄) but then if you ever stop taking it you go through 'withdrawals' and then it's a shit show all over again. Fuck birth control.

A doctor’s job is to push product and basically they make you feel stupid for going against what they say.. cuz why on earth would doctors sell you anything that could harm you in the long run? Profit is everything. I suggest doing research. I’ve been off birth control for about 6 years & I used to have the IUD.. biggest regret of my life. But anyways.. follow your gut & always do what you feel is best for yourself 💚

I can relate to how we view the environment or recycling as adults versus when we learned about it as a child. I've thought about it. I was so excited learning about recycling as a kid, and I know it's so important. Do I do it? No, I don't.

EK Ni77 I’m not overweight, I know. But it’s not the right type of weight (healthy fats) and I can feel how sluggish it’s making me.

Fuck dimly lit lights. If a guy chooses to not date me because of wrinkles or pimples or moles, he's not the 1 for me. This is why I also wear minimal makeup when going out on first dates. If he's into me with my natural look than he's going to think I'm a freakin goddess when I get super dolled up.
The birthcontrol definetly makes people gain , your doctor seems very insensitive and I would consider changing to another one.
