    The five things not to do: 1. Try to find a relationship when you're desperate. 2. Never be with a man who pushes you away or gives you the ick. 3. Never create a co-dependent relationship. 4. Never agree to a partner below you. 5. Never suffer in a relationship.

      3. Codependency is natural, the thing is to keep balance. This is more like complement each other but be aware of ur individuality and strengths. 5 you will always suffer in one way or the other, ask any happily married couple. It is totally natural it’s actually healthy. The thing is why are u suffering about and if it’s actually breaking u apart then it’s not. Again, it’s a balance bc it cannot all be peace and fun and love. Life and humans have dark sides and they will show up, at some point. Just choose wisely what u want to handle about him IMOOOO

      As a man, if I don't see her mothering skills, she will never be the mother of our future kids. A happy woman will make a sandwich for her husband and he will be grateful, happy and value her as an important wife, person and teammate partner. Selfish women are better off being alone forever as well as selfish men. Kids are the ones who suffered the most by being taken advantage by both of their selfish parents.

      Maybe that's God's way of saying not to have sex with men you are dating. I know it's challenging but wait till you at least have a commitment. Sex bonds people. The woman usually gets anxious and the man begins to run OR he will use her. God loves you & doesn't want you harmed.

    When he makes you sick.. facts! I developed all kinds of freaky conditions in the last painful years of our relationship. It's as if my body was physically rejecting him. I eventually walked away not because my heart was on board but because my body wouldn't allow it anymore.

    • @ANGELSVEN
      @ANGELSVEN Місяць тому

      I had a relationship where I was sick (flu or cold?) once a MONTH. He turned out to be a really horrible person to other people, too, even to long term close friends. Regarding another man I thought about becoming involved with, we met many years ago but he was married and I was in a relationship. Then, he got divorced and I became single. We talked on the phone and said "Okay, let's try this." I flew out to stay with him at his house and immediately got sick. I stayed in the guest room and, lo and behold, he asked if we could "just sleep" together even though I was sick! In a flash, my view of him changed and he morphed before my very eyes into a TROLL! THEN he made a sexual comment about us in front of his SON and that was IT! I was out of there. He's tried to contact me...100% NO WAY. So, yes, if you get sick around a man, especially an ongoing sickness, LEAVE.

    “You need to have options in your life, with or without him. If you have options in your life of where you can go, people you can be with, things you can do…”
    This is number 1 rule in life. 👏 Always have the option to walk away. Always make sure that you have the financial security, savings, education, your own job/career, friends, family or whatever you need to always, at any time, have options and be able to just walk away from an unsuitable relationship. This way you are always able to reinvent yourself and keep moving forward instead of being trapped in a codependent relationship. With options, anything is possible.

    A man’s scent is vital in my decision on whether or not I stay. If I love my man, I am also attracted to his scent even after he has been mowing the lawn or working out. Actually, I am more attracted to his scent when he’s a little bit sweaty. My ex-husband; after realizing he was having an affair, I could not bear the scent of his skin.

      That last part is intense lol..I've always loved the sound/tone/pitch of my partner's voice(s), like men I've had strong attraction for. I also get this intoxicating rush from smelling their armpits. It's like catnip or something Ha!! My last partner, rarely had any smell there.. the rare occasions he did...I loved it. It was always peak when they were clean & then sweat afterward+ whatever nice scented deodorant they wore.mixed w/
      Their natural pheromones. I swear my eyes roll back & I feel all frisky..or just enamored with them, hence the catnip reference.
      If I could only find a French speaking man to cuddle & sniff..I'd probably bite him alil bit LOL😅

  • @Widget96
    @Widget96 7 місяців тому +24

    Love this. In a relationship, you should never be in a position where you feel you need to point out the value of your effort, time, and care, to your partner for them to see it. If they make you feel like these things aren't valued and/or reciprocated in their own meaningful ways, then your partner doesn't actually value you. When they make this mistake once, it's a mistake. When they make it again after you expressed your needs, it is then a conscious choice. They are telling you they don't find meeting your needs valuable.
    I just set boundaries this morning with this. I know my value. I will only engage with men who are capable of meeting me on the depth of emotional intimacy and security I bring, which is significant.

    I'm still quite young. But I love watching your videos because I want to be prepared for when the right person comes along.
    I resonate so deeply with "don't date a guy below you." I was with someone for 2 years. From the very beginning his lack of discipine towards academics took a strain on our relationship. Academic performance is very important to me. Given we are still in a stage of our life where competitive exams will decide our fate. I did not respect him. I did berate him. I became someone so intolerable. He didn't have any standards for himself, he would have stayed regardless. But I did. I couldn't bear to be this person who was always naggy and negative. My inability to respect him because of his tendency to be a complete slob made me leave after 2 years. It is not worth it.

    Nr 2 is very interesting, I always struggled with my ex’s body scent, and men in the past that I have had a problem with their scent. Then I met my boyfriend and future husband and I want to smell him all the time and he says my scent is like his drug. I truly believe this is the proof we need 😍

    i gave a man a chance before this because he seemed to put a lot of effort pursuing me but i kept getting icks.. i didn’t find him that attractive but he is a provider. also it felt weird hugging them.
    thankfully i’m out of that now. i told myself i wouldn’t have felt thar way to my future husband haha

    It makes me remember that I was dating a guy and was very attracted to him - even if looking at his picture did not get me attracted, but when we would be physically together, there was the attraction and a "vibe".. he later told me that my natural odor was very much appealing to him and that he liked how I smelled.
    there was another one I was interested in and even though through pictures I did not feel that attracted to him, when we would be in the same room, I'd feel like i'd be drawn to him and constantly have to look at him...
    and PS : YESS you better be faithful to Jessica(me) !!! xD
