I stayed here and it was truly beautiful. I sat in the lobby for quite a while just taking in the architecture. Sat on the beach at night and felt like I was on the edge of the world. Would love to go back one day
I used to live in Oman when I was a kid in 1991-1993 and we used to go to the Al Bustan about 3 times a week as an expat family. One fond memory I have is getting a surf board from the rental place at Al Bustan with a friend and paddling out to sea a bit then along the beach to the left if you’re looking out to sea. We got past the rocky divide which revealed an Omani village and all the local kids rushed out to see us so we paddled in and spent about 30mins playing with Omani kids, letting them play on the surfboard. We then said goodbye and made our way back to the Al Bustan. Great memories.
I know how it is to grow up as an expat kid in Oman, feels like paradise. I am doing something to give back to the Omani society by establishing an Art foundation in Canada for Omani kids to demonstrate their culture and heritage to the western world.
They have the best welcome snacks shown in your videos yet. Amazing! I wonder why many others more expensive resorts only offer fresh fruits, it feels so cheap. Chocolates adds glamour!
It's a pleasant surprise to see pictures on the walls (not to mention pork on the menu) - typically taboo in Arab countries. This is probably one of the most modern Arab countries today. Lovely hotel, sumptuous food, and the actual room was outstanding. Truly a refined, tasteful hotel. Thank you for the great video.
@@alana.gr_1345the Arab countries in the middle eastern are NOT originally Arabs they have been Arabized after Islamic conquests, the real and the only Arabs are the gulf 6 countries and Yemen
Was there in 1992. While huge arab conference and I was stunned watching these hundreds of arabs beaufully dressed in this hall. Sultan Qabuz made a modern country. Hired car and drove the country.
+the Luxury Travel Expert Really happy to hear that. Hope you do visit again sometime in the future, and keep up the good work with your videos, I really enjoy them.
Wow what a gorgeous ,I loved hotel n nature perfect medicine to our soul and heart 💕once again may I say thank you so much for your lovely video,I appreciate, makes my day fantastic.God bless and peace grace 🙏🌸🦋
It's so funny how people have so different taste. I thought the exact opposite when watching. The room was too 'granny' for me. The mint green ruined it in my opinion. But the bathroom had some character. Not perfect, but better than the room. :)
Yes I am.. You might love ' Chefchaouen ' too It's a small beautiful city in north... There are many beautiful places in north as well like " Akchour" (It's near Chefchaouen too ) , Fez city in the middle of the country.....
Wat je met GELD al niet kan doen!!! Et alors on dit que L' ARGENT ne rend pas heureux... I agree with Austin Cu. And, for Smile More: I am 78. Working for such an hotel will be for another life. Unfortunately
O boy, on the out side it looks like the LUX hotels in Romania or Bulgaria at Black Sea's resorts - the frames are just like it from that communist era. Build on dirt sand dessert ,just not a good thing, but that oil money must go somewhere. TH
That lobby is absolutely majestic!

all arab countries and its people are 'modern' minus the gulf arabs who are still traditional except for the kuwaiti's

No chance in hell I'm ever going to go here. The sign said "Be aware of jellyfish".
The sign was only there for a few hours during my 3 day stay. I did swim a lot in the sea, but did not encounter any jellyfish :)
+the Luxury Travel Expert haha that's great to hear. I just have really bad luck with jellyfish
I've been swimming in that beach for the last 15 years and I haven't spotted a single jellyfish 😅
It’s the sea snakes you’ve gotta watch out for
Oman developing same with kuwait.
I stayed here!
