It's interesting how these sleek modern Japanese interiors and exteriors remind me of nordic interiors in Europe (Finnish, Swedish).
Very beautiful and zen. 😍
Yes they have similar philosophy.
@@vladolaf2601, I know actually. I'm Estonian. But it always strikes me anyway. 😁
In my opinion, real luxury comes where good service, materials and style comes. What a place.
Not that it wasn't a beautiful, elegant hotel but the calming music kinda amplifies it like a thousand times better.
Aman Brands always looks great. Japan,Bali and Thailand.. I love this one, modern but they put the culture inside and nature.
I love the quiet. The Elegance. Nature wood and stone. Especially the swimming pools, spas, sunken seating. Very well organized, clean. I would love to relax and stay there.
very clean,peaceful..gorgeous
Japan is firmly on my travel wish list and this place looks fab
I love the sleek, minimalistic, zen qualities of this very serene hotel. Thank you for this experience.
This one has to be my favorite so far. One of the most beautiful places I've seen. I'm not too familiar with this Aman brand, but definitely feel I'm in need of some enlightenment. Nothing a Google search can't do :) Thanks for sharing!
you're welcome :)
Aman brand? That reminds me of Amanpulo island in philippines, a very exclusive island resort as well, and so expensive too.
Cause their the same brand
I love your channel because you truly seem to know how to enjoy the places you visit and it shows on the video. Thanks again
Be aware, Kashikojima is the terminal station. It takes over an hour to get to that place from Ise Nakagawa which is transfer station from Kyoto side. To go to Ise Nakagawa from Kyoto also takes almost one and half hours! So do your research before you go!
It looks like you can hide the flat screen tv behind that beautiful wood screen. I think that is one of the best features of the room as is the exquisite wood work and natural materials. In Vegas, you are surrounded by glass, wallpaper and too much artificial light. The bathroom is also excellent. At first I did not realize that it is not a mirror but two sinks facing each other!
Excellent video, thanks for sharing! I was surprised rather shocked to see they charge for breakfast extra .....
This is simply breathtaking .The Spa is everything 😘💜
Japan is wonderful 💞
For $1,505 per night, I can only enjoy it on UA-cam.
No other service experience can match Japan's. I once stayed in a 5 star hotel in New York. And after my 5 night stay I received a questionnaire as to how the service was. I replied, I'd get better service from a 3 star hotel in Japan. Having lived in Japan for 8 years, I know this to be true. Cannot compete with culture. My only advice for people who enjoy these services, make sure you let the service providers know. It's what makes the world go around.
The music is always so beautiful as well.
Always so peaceful and serene
It looks gracefully !
An unprecedented balance of destination and lifestyle !
Now I understand why in this country people " forget " to die ....
I'm immensely grateful our
dear Great Expert !
Sir i become big fan of your videos. It makes me inspire every time when i watches your video's.
thank you!
Good choice of music, superb videography, excellent resort, wonderful feeling!!!!
Minimalism at its best! Clean lines, no clutter, excellent materials... I don't want to die without visiting Japan!!!!
I'm Japanese but I have not been to such a wonderful place ;o;
Someday surely ...
Amazing. The view is wow. The hotel is magnificent. I wish I could stay there.
A 'must' visit on my next trip to Tokyo!
The sunken terraces are just like what I have in my cabin! 💗💗
I lived there two nights last year . I was so enjoying and also has good food😀
I'm sure it was great but being so small it does seem like a good place for a weekend getaway but not some place you would stay for a week or more.
spectacular, amazing ultra luxurious hotel. Your vid: outstanding & inspiring! keep going friend!
thx
Finally !! Your Japan tour !! And what an amazing start ! Aman is definitively the most luxury brand in the world, with a real and perfect vision of what luxury must be.
I did my proposal in Amandari in Bali, we had a traditional dance from little girls and then a private dinner on their bale.. Just an amazing evening, when time stop and you are just there, to enjoy life (and a state of the art dinner)
Thank you for this nice video, true inspiration !
I've read you ranking of the best hotel in Amsterdam where I will go in two weeks. We'll try the Sofitel. And then the Langham in Boston, and the Rosewood in London (once more, thanks to your video ;)
Have a very nice week-end, can't wait for your next video (Aman Tokyo ? ^^)
Ben
Hi Ben, thank you for your kind comment. Very nice to meet another Aman-junkie here :). Amandari is a great resort indeed. I am sure you'll like the Sofitel in Amsterdam (which was one of my first clips I ever posted). I wish you a great weekend as well. Kind regards
Hi I just subscribe to your amazing video. I am going on my own next year to Japen and will defo stay there for 2 or three days it looks wonderful. Love travelling alone just home to UK after horse riding in Argentina amaz. Happy n safe travells
Have you got any tips on travelling alone?
Thanks for sharing an amazing video clip. Great editing especially the closed caption.
What a beautiful resort, nice location where nature is with clean water and huge greenery. Designs are awesome and as per Japanese culture. Simple yet gracefully designed, selection of color and wooden enclosures unique. Like to spend some quality time there.
That Washlet at 06:41 is everything! Nice!
the most valuable thing is environment ! Among hotels, all over the world, settings , interior designs , amenities are nearly the same!!
I love this hotel; very meditative. Best swimming pool ever.
The only downside I can see is that if i visited there I would never want to leave.
you have good taste. poor want decorative room, gorgeous wine and dinner. rich like Bill Gates loves to stay in simple hotels with nature.
@@akas224 The difference being that Bill Gates can experience luxury every day of his life if he wishes. So the simpler things become more attractive when you live your life in luxury (as I assume BG ends up doing most of the time when he travels.)
Hey doc. I missed the sound of the waves lapping the shore which is a staple in your videos. That is music to my ears. The combination of black and beige is predominant and kind of lends a minimalist feel to the place . A room with a sea view. Fabulous. I like the way oriental music crept in towards the end. The pastime I look forward to with eagerness. You guessed right. Watching your vlogs.
Bill Gate is a worm. 😑
Watching your video very relaxing & comfortable Love it!
Japanese very devoted and work hard ,costumer is always Number they are excellent in service,,I loved japan 🇯🇵 BANZAI 👘🌸💕Thank you so much for your lovely video.God bless and peace grace 🙏
I love it. I just feel it is not as Japanese as the older ones, this is just a classy thing. I have found some hidden Olsen’s that blew my mind. One was on Shikoku island up on a bluff by an old train station jr line then 2 miles up? Kochi is where I was a volunteer also had a cabin on a river, the freshest water I ever saw. Kama Kochi resort .one little bus the other direction from jr small station.
They also have Aman (Amanpulo) in Palawan, Philippines. I hope you could feature that too in your channel
need to add please an explanation of the dinner dishes. Some looked very good but I had no idea what they were.
There was nobody there
lots of love
Looks amazingly peaceful.
Ah! The music is so pleasant 😇😊
Sorry, im playing catch up on your video's. I have to say, compared to the other Aman resorts you've stayed at and shown us, this seems very "basic hotel" compared to the others! Especially the Amanzoe!!! What's the craziest thing is, I absolutely love Japan but I think I'd rather stay at a traditional onsen!
yes! onsen👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Aman architecture concept , there is some outdoor swimming pool, tourist aren't swimming in winter.
Iu and Lee Jung Suk Stayed here :)
Very Japanese in its inspiration, but I am surprised they didn't use a Japanese architect. Also I hope international brands don't take over in Japan. My advice is if you visit Japan be sure to stay in a ryoukan do get the true Japanese experience.
I don't know who you are but you are living one of the beautiful life I can imagine.
If "calm" is a place, this would be it.
Thanks
I always refer to your video
my favorite is
Nam Hi Hoian
Park Hyatt bangkok
The siam
Bulgari Bali
I stayed Aman Tokyo last weekend
Thanks to your advice
I have a reservation in
Amanemu in December
There is a little mistake
in your video
The category of Room No23 is Nagi suite
I think that giving the water temperature of the Onsen at the Spa might have been useful in this video.
the calmness of the design is addictive..
Stamping this as the first ever video I came across of yours
Is there something I'm missing because the bathtub faucets are too short. They don't extend over the rim.
belleza absoluta!!! grs por compartir ...creo q en mis vidaas anteriores fui japones..
What a stunning hotel! Can you tell me the name of the music from the beginning of the video (from 0:01 - 2:10)?
Wwwooowww It’s a place to dream and live! !!! 🙏🏽✨🙏🏽👍🏼💕
To have to pay for beverages. For such an expensive hotel... I still love it though
Every luxurious Japanese hotel look like the setting in an anime/game (clean/spotless/calm).
Definitely a great contrast to our American Hotels, which had zombie-apocalypse vibes on it.
Love the spa!
Y a pas de mots pour exprimer son emerveillement tout est a la perfection.
Oui!!!
I’m sure it is amazing, but a little too serene for me. Looks like an Asian Ikea store! No change in colors or mood from one area to another.
great video, pool looks lovely ... minimalism at its peak
lovely place it looks so neat, fresh, revitalizing and the staff look so smart.
Great work on your filming and editing.
thank you for your kind comment
+the Luxury Travel Expert Honestly This Is Better Than Your Flight Video's. I love you man😝
the Luxury Travel Expert
Beautiful resort!
...thats right down the road from my old grandparents place...
Wow ,thank you
Hideaway from busy/city life. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sunny and tranquil
What is the song playing. I could use this to help me son go to sleep.
this hotel is absolutely incredible.
Pretty setting. High end monastic retreat! 😃
Tater tots! Would like to see this place when the newer plantings fill out.
that epic moment at 14:23
I hope you can take a tour video on Park Hyatt Siem Reap and Four Season Tented camp,Golden triangle please make a video on that hotels and resorts
Beautiful.
Me encanta la sencillez y elegancia sutil de la recámara y la sala de lectura
Thank you so much for this footage. I understand that you are immensely fond of Aman group but honestly from any of your other Aman videos, I would still choose Courtyard Marriott over them. Pardon me for my taste but sometimes I see that they are being "too natural" .... until I saw this ^^. The ambiance of Amanemu brings a lot of peaceful vibe, I can really see Japanese influence in the whole theme of the property, which I can always respect about. Now I'm putting Amanemu in my bucketlist and I'm gonna bring my loved ones to stay there. Again, thank you and all the best ahead.
Is this hotel better than the Four Seasons Lanai? Or Four Seasons London?
The sequence at 14:16 is just magic
Amanemu's hot springs are wonderful indeed
the Luxury Travel Expert Aman Hotels
Fantastic ☆❤
Simply stunning
Been to a couple hotels like this and they were both empty. It was a little bit depressing, I can be alone at home.
Very rich video and I like the swimming pool, Sir which camera do you use ?
Excellent, Modern, and extremely comfortable .
I am obses with the Japanese tiles, I just love them....
good video as always
Nice keep up.
Granite tub? That is using the tiles for the bath on the tub as well?
Looks so beautiful and tranquil, and... so lonely.
I filmed in the morning before other guests woke up :)
I was like.. oh cool, I want to stay there... looked up prices.. $1300/night... yea that's not going to happen.
Well. Definitely not affordable for everyone. A chauffeur with Lexus to welcome you at train station at $150/night would be insane
No mistake the service is excellent and the design is fantastic.
But the landscaping doesn't do anything for me and I feel they could've gone a little more Japanese on the styling. Feels a bit bland somehow. Like A place I've been before.
I think they are trying to lure their exciting customers.
My dream
Menu prices are surprisingly cheap. Pepper mint tea is $9. Truffle Scrambled egg is only $42. C'mon, I'm moving there when retired.
Bit different then sleeping in a Japanese capsule.
just amazing video :)
why is the music so depressing? The hotel looks nice, a little too much like a museum for my taste.
Amazing architecture blends perfectly, complete minimal obstruction of the natural landscape
I very much doubt this is Japan's most exclusive hotel
I wonder how many Japanese would actually stay there. Just because it 'claims' to exclusive (to Westerners) doesn't mean ir is for the Japanese themselves. And it looks kinda boring, too. Nothing much going on there. Unless someone told me specifically that this was in Japan it might as well be in Thailand for all "I" know.
purpose is doing nothing. luxurious hotels are boring for real rich.they fed up gorgeous dinner. that's why Bill Gates loves Japan and have second house in the forest in northern Japan.
