I always watch your videos as soon as I can after they get uploaded, but then if I'm stressed or angry, I'll just put a playlist of them all on to soothe me. Your voice and your painting, they're so calming! I love it.
I love your style of videos, very relaxing and simplistic and you were actually the first person to introduce me to this style of drawing and also gouache paint. I am now hooked on the paint and love creating art with it. Thank you for all of the tips and tricks you share. I will be sure to be back again for your next video!
I never thought I would like landscape painting until i saw your simplified landscapes videos! the end result is so beautiful and the videos are super satisfying
It's so fantastic minnie, how with almost all of your paintings (masterpieces), at first I can't really see The end product, or The idea you have. But the last few strokes, or added details just makes The entire painting POP! It's brilliant!
I'm glad you left the shot where you remove the tape. It is soooo satisfying. And your landscapes are awesome. I love how it's just a bunch of shapes and all of a sudden : BOOM I'm in a middle of a snowy forest ❤
As soon as you said the third painting was from The Handmaiden I was really excited to see which specific landscape from the film it would be, and I really enjoyed the moment of comprehension as you defined the path through the avenue of greenery and I went "OH! That scene!"
A collection of little gems. I love these quick studies. Often prefer them to an artist's finish work. We learn so much from them, since we're seeing the mind if the artist. Thanks. 👍
I love how I (and the rest of the world) get to witness your process and improvement. Be it in your artwork, your filming and editing, and even your personal growth. It's amazing how authentic you are in sharing your progress. Thank you for being an inspiration to all creative people out there!
I really love your style and art. I recently got accepted to an art school and watching your videos was one of the things that inspired me to and helped me muster up the courage to apply, thank you.
this video made me feel really relaxed and nostalgic...I'm feeling down lately, especially about my art, but these kinds of videos just give me a nice feeling.
Dodie's video was a blessing and you deserve it so much, but I really hope it won't put any pressure on you. Your style is great, and I really hope you won't be afraid or stressed. You're amazing !
What a beautiful video! I love how peaceful your landscapes look. One of these days I will have to try again at watercolor and see what I can create. Keep up the good work!
I'm always so excited when I get a notification for a new Minnie video. 😊 Thank you for this lovely, positive space on the internet which you facilitate.
these are so beautiful!! i'm glad you're well. when you mentioned dodie, it warmed my heart; it's so lovely to see creators lifting each other up and helping one another grow rather than tearing each other down! xx
i absolutely love this style of painting! and i would very much appreciate a video in which you could explain how to approach simplifying landscapes for beginners like me. it always looks so easy how you do it, but when i try it myself i have no idea at what to look and with what to start. i've heard that it has to do with tonal values and some things i don't have a clue of, so a 'how to simplify landscapes' video would be super cool! so maybe with one reference photo and then with what you start and everything. thanks in advance! lots of love and appreciation for you and your videos, marie
I was thrown off by that tape. I thought it was your sketchbook in the opening. Imagine my relief when I realized it was tape. lol! Lovely work and good to see a new video! Thanks and cheers!
Sooooo lovely! (as always) Exactly the inspiration I needed today. Can't thank u enough for not displaying your beautiful talent in such high quality & peaceful videos. The time and effort is so appreciated! Xx
I bought guache recently and been struggling with it...because I'm used to painting with watercolour I'm not just how to proceed with guache ...But this video did inspire and help me to approache more.guache and don't give up on it! Thank you so much!
I love how every time you start a painting like that, it looks soooo ugly and unidentifiable, then after you finished it, it is like WOAH WAT. it really shows how you can already see the steps you need to do to make the painting.
They all turned out so amazing! These little landscapes are so inspiring! Landscapes have always been something I've struggled with and watching your previous videos really encourage me to practice more. I've been using crayons and ink mostly but this is making me want to break out my paints! xD
This video was so relaxing to watch! I loved the third drawing especially. Your channel has inspired me to start a sketch book of my own, which I've never done before. I'm not an artist but i find it so meditative and it helps me unwind after a long day of working for my PhD. It's actually helping me not get so stressed out with my research, I always tell myself I will grow from what I do, just like with the stuff I'm doing in my sketchbook. Thank you for the inspiration! Xx
I needed inspiration....and there you where!! As always I get sent your way and you ideas inspire me all over again. Having a rough creative time at the moment, my mojo has flown the nest and I'm trying to coax it back in. Xx
Wow I just watched this video and I love it. I think I should try gouache now but right after I'm done experimenting with watercolors. Thank you posting this video! I got some lovely ideas and inspiration from this!
I'd like to see a self portrait of you in watercolor. Woukd be really great, because you can make it colorful if you want, but also more naturalistic colored if that's your mood. 😊
could you do a video on how you do your style of people? I absolutely love your art and I've been trying to find a style I'm interested in and yours has just taken all my attention x
You are such a huge inspiration to me! Thank you so much for your amazing videos ❤❤ as a suggestion, could you sometime film a video on perspective? I struggle with this specifically a lot, and I would love to see your interpretation of the subject. Love your videos so much ❤
I always look forward to your videos. Yalou're so inspiring! I bought gouache paints because of you, and I hope to get as good as you sometime in the future.
I started doing these because of your videos and they're really fun :) I do them with acrylic because I don't have gouache but I would like to get a gouache set soon.
I had no idea wtf you were painting then my brain suddenly started functioning and interpreting pictures well to find out that you have created yet another set of masterpiece?????? hOw????
Love your work! Can I ask which is your usual approach to gouache paintings? Do you prefer blocking shadows first and then add more paint or you prefer to begin with mid tones and add lights and shadows later? I'm in a bit of a struggle with how to build my paintings. It would be great if you give me some tips. Thanks a lot!! ^^
omg i didn't know you were in one of dodie's videos!! i just found you thru suggested and i love all of your videos but it's so cool to know that dodie does too.
I love watching you paint. You make me relax and you inspire me a lot. But I would love to see you paint a larger forest, just a bit larger. Something like twilight if it doesn't sound stupid 😏 with love from Denmark ❤️
it is so nice, how do you know where to put what colour? it fits so perfectly and everytime I try it just becomes a mess like a child's painting in art class
the last one has got to be my favourite! I just adore the colours! I really want to give this style of painting ago but I'm a tad too nervous to start it in-case it comes out horrid! any advice?

I feel the same way during the winter. I typically knit in the winter. Love these little paintings. Good way to start small and not feel overwhelmed.
I love how I (and the rest of the world) get to witness your process and improvement. Be it in your artwork, your filming and editing, and even your personal growth. It's amazing how authentic you are in sharing your progress.

Whenever I use patterned tapes around my paintings, my colors always turn out really off. I love the second one!
I would LOVE a video on finding your style // how you found your style if you haven't done one already
Very nice! What type of tape do you use? I like to do that but it seems to rip the paper.
