That was interesting information. I also work in the gaming industry and I get the part of most of it being communication between teammates, reports, and spreadsheets.
“The magic is gone after a while...” totally get it.

I don't remember how bad I made it "sound", but this is just the reality of everything to me XD.
It's the trade off we take :).

Anderous I mean, it sounded bad if you are someone with no background knowledge of what it means to do this kind of job. But to me it sounded like common things I would experience doing my job.

I'm going thru QA stuff and I want to b manual to start make sure I like it and can catch on I feel gaming is a great entry point but the testers don't make much I don't wanna drop that much in pay but sacrifice is needed sometimes

Yep. There are a lot of other factors like team size and scope but... the easiest way to get anything done is to talk :).

u get paid to play video games. whether thats fun or not depends on u. definitely one of the easier jobs though

did my first playtest and it wasn’t even “QA” but i was trying to be so careful because my game kept crashing. i never play like that ! lol
the whole computer ended up crashing on day 2. 🥹
but it was just as you said, so fun to be around everyone working on this big project, being a part of it. talking to others about games, computer stuff.. it was inspiring.
i was thinking the whole time like wow this is awesome I’m really getting paid to play games right now 🤩
