Federal Signal Premium Vision Lightbar & Signalmaster Demo

A demonstration of the configuration of my Federal Signal Vision Lightbar. This particular model is fitted with four clear and three amber pod lenses. Two of the clear lenses are fitted with front facing amber filters and red rear facing filters. The other two clear lenses, in addition to lighting patterns, are used for alley and take-down lights.
The system is programmable and with a little practice you can configure a nice set-up. I have another UA-cam video which details the list of lighting patters that are available for this system.

The smart Vision Premium was hands down the best halogen lightbar setup ever created. The dozens of different functions are unbelievable and almost more than anyone could ever think of needing.

I remember when my department began switching all our Code 3 LP lightbars over to Federal Signal Vista's. Except for the Watch Commander's vehicle. That one had the Vision Premium. I remember how quiet it was. I rarely got to drive that car. Remember 3 or 4 times at the most when I got to drive Code 3 with it. Great bar in the day!

I drove a few units that had the JOG buttons. Literally none of us knew what they were for. Actually a few guys said dont touch them. It resets the lightbar lol

This is a halogen Vector NOT a Vision!

It is a Vision. The entire bar are made of Smart Pods. Vector just had basic rotators.

Florida Explorer 777 Power down there, guy! Being halogen has nothing to do with it. Might wanna do some reading. The original Vision Premium with all 7 smart pods still came with all halogen bulbs - probably when you were in Kindergarten. LEDs came out later, probably when you were in middle school. The Vector never had more than 2 smart pods.
