Is the flood function a standard or do I have to order the bar with multicolor heads? Lol I can make this question simpler by asking can I order and all blue lightbar and still have the flood capability. I'm an officer with a hospital security department that is looking at the integrity bar for our newest patrol vehicle.

Usually a slow alternating pattern for traffic control or stationary on the side of the road like pattern 2 while a pattern like 27 is good for moving traffic and getting their attention while running code 3 lights and sirens

It's not the cop that choose, it done by the installer.
Usually the cops will have a 3 position switch :
1- "cruise" steady light, lightbar only (0:20)
2- slow alternate red/blue (like 1:30 but without the white)
3- full lights with a fast pattern + siren
1 is used just to be more visible, 2 for a traffic stop and 3 for fast driving.

Johnson county IL sheriffs dept has a new 2018 fpiu that uses 26 ....all amber in the rear with red/blue tips and that pattern = horrible lighting. The bar being on a unmarked gold SUV with only red/blue hideaways in the reverse lights doesn't help... Looks like a construction worker went to sitting on the side of the interstate lol. What makes it really dumb is this one has the bar on the top a red Hideaway and the driver side reverse light blue Hideaway on the passenger side reverse light where you can't see either one of them from the distance in the front has the lightbar Phoenix T3 why did into the bumper that little opening under the grill is and white ions for hideaways show the front end is lit up in red white and blue like crazy and the rear is Amber with a so small amount of red and blue all you see is the Amber...looks pretty stupid. I wish IL went all blue like the southern states Ohio West Virginia Massachusetts and the Carolinas Georgia and Florida does.

This LED is GARBAGE ! Bring back the halogen lamps and rotating parabolic reflectors. Much better than this crap that just blinks.
