Been watching your gt86 build from the beginning of dedicationblogs. It's amazing seeing how you've gone from wanting to hammer a spanner to take your brake caliper off, to now fabricating and welding your own brackets! Love the build Chris! I need to start modifying my gt86!

its a business unit I rent not far from me yeah. Not cheap but so much better than working on axle stands on the floor lol just need to do a better job at keeping the place tidy...
Yay! PARTY!!! One thing I was thinking about, you will have to push the clutchpedal before you pull the handbrake right? Otherwise the motor stalls and the gearbox gets a big blow?
So... The biggest mystery of this video is: WHAT THE HECK is in that big box on the little office/toilet?!?!
haha its not a box, its just like a little wall that the previous tenants put in there cos they had some seats up there. As for the handbrake, yes you have to put the clutch in before you pull it. On a front wheel drive car you can do it without, but yeah cos the handbrake is acting on the same wheels that the engine is driving, you need to put the clutch in

Great video buddy I think ur doing a great job and welds are fine mate no one will see them and it’s not a roll cage ur welding so fuck it! Haters will hate even if u have good welds 🤘😂

Been a long time coming! Hopefully the dual caliper setup is worth the wait, guess we'll find out :-)

did you able to retain your parking brake? also instead of getting a PBM can I just use a dual caliper bracket?

Did you modify the brake cooling plate? I just installed the wheel bearing on to the knuckle and the speed sensor doesn’t fit. I’ve skimmed through the video and didn’t see anything 🤔
Not sure what you mean by cooling plate. Don't remember having to modify anything to get the speed sensor to fit. Unless you mean the disc guard? Obviously did have to cut some of that for the new caliper to fit but don't remember cutting it where the speed sensor is. I'll check later today though
I think your talent and passion really lies on working on the cars. Maybe subconsciously you crash them so you can go back to the garage in order to do what you really like.
