My Wow Razer phone has more Ram which makes it faster
RAM helps multitasking and keeping apps open in the background, its not directly related to speed. You probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference if it weren't for the razer phone's 120hz display which will make it feel a lot faster.

For real. Don't get me wrong...I love the design of the iPhone X minus that stupid notch. I have the pixel 2xl and after a weeks use I would not want a phone with bezels any smaller than this. I still have issues hitting the onscreen keys accidentally. I'd never buy anything like Samsung's edge display because I'd be hitting the edge all the time. I hold my phone with a grip.... Not my fingertips.

the screen is the single most important thing for most people, including me. If the screen is trash the phone is trash. If the phone has burn in issues in the first week I would hate to see those screens in a year.

It made me so happy when you said that the notch on the iPhone X wasn't that noticeable. xD Everybody makes comments on the notch like it's so horrible, but as you said, it becomes unnoticeable after just a few seconds of use.
You guys do know that the blue shift is also there on the samsung phones right? Noone is mentioning that or complaining about that. Its arguably worse on the samsung phones even. Not that i care about a slight blueshift at all, but yeah its not only the pixel like everyone is making it sound like.
I didn't see it in person, but on some video review they compared the blue shift between Pixel 2 xl and Samsung S8 and the blue shift appeared on P2XL at a much smaller angle off-axis.

Taiwan is actually pretty good when it comes to manufacturing, similar quality to Japan. Most consumer Japanese cars and photo equipment is made in Taiwan Thailand China Indonesia or Vietnam. The latter 3 are arguably worse when it comes to manufacturing. Read the back of the label fool. You cannot escape it!

IGZO is the back panel on the LCD. The cool thing about this is, IGZO can be made transparent and so can OLED, so we're probably going to get fully transparent displays like the ones you see on sci-fi movies soon!!
The Pixel 2 has a rectangular screen, iPhone X does not. That’s a huge advantage. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to use an irregular shaped phone, no matter how better the hardware is. I’m actually surprised that most people are not annoyed by it.

I've had my Pixel 2 XL going on 2 weeks now. Tbh it's been perfect so far, in hand feel, the speed of everything, and i am in love with the design. The screen isn't as bad as people make it seem (I say that knowing I could have just lucked out with my model). The blue shift you can't really see it unless you set up the screen to actually look for it, I've had no burn in at all, and actually prefer the more natural color. But I think more people would prefer to make the choice themselves. Recommend just going to see the phone for yourselves after watching the reviews.
I am a google Pixel user, the real comparison is the software.
X - iOS you have to pay for everything/ storage is limited but limited when you have to upload it on your computer. Though it's faster core.
Pixel - standard, clean and simple Oreo, unli storage instant upload on your google account. Slower core speed than X.

48 hours with iPhone 10 and face unlock is 100% consistent. Swipe to home is great. No need to find a button just swipe up anywhere from bottom of screen. I was used to it in 5 mins
They fixed the Pixel 2 display in the Oreo 8.1.0 update where they added a saturated mode. It's awesome. So the display is fixed.

I would go for the iPhone X. The camera will get better in time with software updates. Studio lighting on the iPhone X is a plus. That feature is what you left out in the video. Also, it looks like you’re working out.
Just started a return for my iPhone X , and bought a pixel 2 xl, but the reason might surprise you, I swapped the phone because I want to use android auto. Although I’ve been an iPhone person from the beginning, CarPlay is just lacking some main features and it’s a dealbreaker for me.

I have the XL 2. The screen is not that bad. The software update that added saturated mode single-handedly saved it. I have 0 burn in, the blue shift is only noticeable if you are looking for it and it's a white image, and the colors are super punchy and colorful thanks to the saturated mode. It's not a reason to not buy this phone. Though I do have a later shipped one, so it's possible they could have corrected some hardware issues.
My wishes for the Pixel 3:
- 120 Hz Screen
- a SAMSUNG screen
- less bezels
- better waterproofing
- keep the stereo speakers (dont get rid of them for less bezels)
- 5 years of software updates

I have the standard Pixel 2 and I love it. Had an iphone for the last two years but spent most of my time complaining about iOS. I've had my Pixel for a couple of weeks now and so glad I switched! It's a great phone and I love the camera, definitely recommend it as well.

I'll be getting the standard Pixel 2 this week, to replace the original Nexus 5 I had been using for the past 3 years. Pixel 2 sounds a lot like the Nexus 5 - gets the job done. Looking forward to it.

I'm with Android over iOS, for the customizability-and I prefer the clean material design look of the Pixel 2 XL and Android Oreo. Don't get me wrong, there's a Moto X in my house and an iPhone 7 Plus (the latter is quite clearly better) but it lacks the features to make the phone wholly _yours_ exactly how you want to use it. The notch on the iPhone X is a dealbreaker for me, and the Pixel's rear camera is a huge part of smartphone usage.
I'm using a pixel 2... Switched from a galaxy S8, I had the iPhone 7 last year but honestly I can't get away from the benefits of android, and stock android on the pixel 2 is oh so smooth. If I was someone considering, get the pixel 2 (regular size) the screen is plenty good enough for what you would want to be doing on a 5 inch display and the experience with stock android and the ability to download .APK files is a huge benefit to me. To each is their own but I think after getting my first stock android phone, I will be a pixel (or whatever Google calls it in the coming releases) man for the next few years.

The first time I am considering buying an Android. The iPhone X display lags, especially when scrolling through webpages. Please try to scroll up & down when you‘re on a website. The feeling is really bad.
Went for the pixel 2 xl. Honestly the screen isn't bad at all and much better than the iPhone 6 I was using. The bluing is noticable when you tilt off axis but common. When do you actually do that when you're using the phone? Not a big deal. Best phone and camera I've ever owned.

Considering the headphone jack is removed on most modern phones I think ill keep my current one for music and then get a modern one for actual smartphone use.
