Hey dude! We briefly met at the bottom of jackpot on north mountain last summer during the cascadia dirt cup. Cool to see you making videos. I feel our region is under represented on UA-cam relative to how great our trails are. Keep it up!
Damn, wish I was mediocre enough to justify a such damn nice bike. Time will come! The joking aside, this really is an insane build for the price. Looking into a Capra myself for next year. Im curious to see how you like it
Yeah I’m just barely mediocre enough to justify it 😂 I’ve been on one ride so far and was very impressed. I’ll be posting some first ride and review videos in the upcoming weeks
I've got a 23 yt Capra core 4 axs. It's a great bike, truth is I need money so it's for sale it's an XL, I've only been out on it few times. So still new. Make offer
I liked them! They were super grippy and held up well. Pretty simple style/grip pattern. I’ve been impressed with most things from Wolf Tooth. Nice to have some color options. Ultimately went back to the ODI Elite Pro lock in grips because they feel more ergonomic on my hands
The sale started in February and I think it only last a couple weeks. The Capra is such a sick bike! Definitely worth waiting for the next sale or saving up for
what is your overall impression of the Crankbrothers Synthesis Alloy Enduro, 29” wheels? I just ordered mine but not sure if selling them and keep the DT Swiss EX1700 or leave them on. Thanks
I’ve liked them a lot. Very solid set of wheels in my experience. I did bend the side of one of my rims a few months ago, but it was completely my fault when I came down hard on a sharp rock. See this video: ua-cam.com/video/HFJ-kI8z0Hk/v-deo.htmlsi=C3nWbMpflL-YQZ55 But since it’s aluminum I just bent the side of the rim back in place and it’s still holding air great and never cracked. I like that the wheels are front and rear specific. The rear is stronger and stiffer. The front a bit more compliant.
@@martusho Mine came with the Industry 9 1/1 hubs which have required zero maintenance. Sometimes the Crankbrothers wheelset comes with a “crankbrothers” synthesis hub which I believe is actually made by Project 321 in bend oregon. But I’ve never tried those hubs
Thanks! I actually left the areas of the frame that already came with protection on them, and then added some RideWrap pieces around it to protect the rest of the frame. Not sure if that was the easiest solution but it worked for me
This bike is a bit more “well-rounded” because it’s not as long and slack as the Commencal. This bike climbs better and is a bit more nimble and playful. However, I felt more confident going fast downhill through technical sections on the Commencal
@@MediocreMitchMTBwith a few months riding it how would you describe the size L at 5ft10? I am 6ft and would replace my 180mm Spindrift for 90% hard bikepark riding, 10% hometrails and I am unsure if I go with an L also or XL suits me better.

Hey Jared! I’m glad you found my little channel! I definitely agree. Hope all is well
That is crazy that it comes stock with industry nine hub...I didn't realize!

Sick build! How did you end up liking the Wolf Tooth Echo grips? I havent seen many reviews on them

bro, when was this sale exacly. started looking att capras a week ago and fell in love instantly, and to see this sale now made me very sad:(
The sale started in February and I think it only last a couple weeks. The Capra is such a sick bike! Definitely worth waiting for the next sale or saving up for
they have a 15% off code rn.
Bought my core3 with 2023 Rockshox ultimate suspension and GX axs for under 4000€.

What about the hub? Does require a lot of maintenance or breaks often? Thank you very much for your quick response. The bike arrives tomorrow 😅

@@martusho Do you know which hubs your bike comes with? Congrats on the new bike!
It arrived today!!! Early delivery! The hub should be the i9 1/1 XD
Great video. Sorry if I missed in the video, was the original bars aluminum or carbon?
The original bars were Renthal Fatbar aluminum bars!
Can you slam the 200mm dropper all the way down? I see it still 2 inches above the seat clamp.
Yes you can! I’ve left it a touch above the seat clamp to get some more seat height when climbing. But it can slam all the way down
Sick bike! Was the ride wrap a gloss or matte?
Ride wrap is matte! It’s barely noticeable on the matte black frame
@@MediocreMitchMTB Thanks my dude 🤙
@@MediocreMitchMTB any tricks to remove the original YT wrap?
Nice video. Did you remove the cover that came on the bike.? And motored a new RideWrap.? Or how did you do it? Curious?
Thanks! I actually left the areas of the frame that already came with protection on them, and then added some RideWrap pieces around it to protect the rest of the frame. Not sure if that was the easiest solution but it worked for me
Trust, me they still make money at that price point. Mid level to highend bikes are crazy over priced. They would make money at 50% off.
@mediocremitchmtb how do you compare this bike to the commencal?
This bike is a bit more “well-rounded” because it’s not as long and slack as the Commencal. This bike climbs better and is a bit more nimble and playful. However, I felt more confident going fast downhill through technical sections on the Commencal

That’s a sexy bike!!
Thanks! 🙏
Waht is the weight limit for this frame ?
It’s beyond me why any large frames are spec’d with a anything less than 200 mm droppers these days.
I’m with you on that one my friend. It drives me crazy to have too short of a dropper post
