Dude, now I think of it, it might have been you who got me to check out TS! It was roughly a year ago and I think you showed or ranked their albums or something. Anyway James, appreciate the comment. Excellent picks indeed!
There´s two covers by for the MainEEaxe record, the one you have and the US version with no blood on the teeth. "Sin After Sin" is my fave Priest album. You can´t go wrong with the first two, maybe three Twisted Sister records. Congrats to the Protector OG!!! I only have the reissue but I´m ok with that...😪 There are lyrics on the Obituary innersleeve, left corner under the bandfoto, that´s all the words Tardy had for the record. Fantastic find Thomas!!!
I had you in mind when I got the Protector one, I remember you mentioned that in your Protector discography video. I think I've seen the two different covers of the MainEEaxe album, I prefer this one. Hope you're alright Jurgen, I wanted to send you a mail soon. I was wondering if you're selling CDs.
Hi Thomas. Fun vid mate haha! My fav TS record here man, fantastic. Sin After Sin by Priest is prob my 2nd fav by 'em. The Protector record is a scorching album! Sweet update mucker...Cheers!
I don't know the whole 70s Priest catalogue yet, but this is my favorite one of that era so far. Wings of Destiny is a good second. You don't see a lot of Priest records around here lately, only that one live album. Hope you're doing good Jason 🤘
Hug? More like a mother-in-law forced birthday kiss you'd rather not do, but you know it's good will deep inside. It's a fun record really, and I've never seen anyone show it before.
The Obituary one was not hard to find actually, seen it plenty of times on record fairs. The hard part that took me years was to find it for a good price! The Protector one was a bit harder to find, haha.
@mercyfulmetal7324 Ahh ok that's fair enough! That's the trouble with record fairs sometimes isn't it, overpricing things. Well I'm glad you found it for a good price finally! Ahh yeah, I guess it's more rare than the Obituary one. Glad you managed to find it and get it ☺️🤘🏻
Great update there Thomas. Sin after sin is one of Priests best I think, they were on top form in that mid-late 70s period. Good to see some Quartz as well. Need to check out Protector, I've heard the name but not given them a listen yet. Enjoy the new music.
Great additions to the collection there Thomas! I have never really properly listened to ‘Protector’… & I really need to change that… as everyone I hear talk about them has only good things to say! Good to see you my friend!🤘🏻
Marc, your middle name is basically "death metal" by now, and you don't know Protector?! You have to check out this one, it is their best and heaviest! Hope you're all good man
For a long time I preferred black vinyl and it took me a while to get into picture discs. Anyhow my favorite JP album is Sin After Sin and I've loved Twisted Sister since 1992 when I got into metal.
Priest and Sister, just can't go wrong with these! Picture discs? I try to avoid those. Not because of the alledged "bad" sound they're known for, but I just don't like to have the cover art on the record!
Excellent pick-ups there... especialle MainEEaxe :D Priest, Protector, and Obituary are alright too. Regarding vinyl color, I go for the cheapest variant... which is often the black one.
Dude, charging two or three euros more for a silly color is insane to me! Might not be much, but do it a few times and you could've bought another record!
I laughed when you done the Roger fist pump 😂. Hey you need some of those sound deadening tiles you stick on the wall. That will improve the echo situation. That Quartz song is awesome even I love that one. You're right, Obituary had the big impact in 89/90 but these days musically very tame. You can't fcuk with Tardys voice on that album. It's THEE death metal vocal.
I remember you wanted to send me that Quartz, haha. Tardy's vocals are top tier, but if I had to make a pick for THEE death metal vocals, it would be the Leprosy Death era.
Wow! That cover art is brutal, as is the name 🤣🤣🤣 Some really cool pick-ups, Thomas. The Protector album is a much sought after addition to my collection I've yet to add to my collection 😅 No further words needed to applaud the Obituary addition 👏 Great video, Thomas 🤘
Luckily High Roller did the whole Protector stuff, so you can pretty easily get your hands on a reissue! That MainEEaxe is something, isn't it, hahaha. At least the music is fun. Cheers Sean 🤘
That cover rules, go MainEEaxe, hahaha 😂😂😂 Black vinyl fistbump completed! Almost punched my tv.... Excellent Protector and Obituary finds. Cheers 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Awesome OG update mate. MainEEaxe is decent stuff I found it last year I think 🤔 I can’t get into Priests early stuff, the later 80s albums is where I’m at. Killer finds on Protector and Obituary 🙌🙌🔥
I prefer the 80s Priest stuff too, but the early stuff feels like a cool summer breeze, haha. I hope to replace more death metal grails with originals, but that's a long and expensive journey, lol.
I was in acquaintance with Frank Watkins back in the 90’s. I played drums in a band back in FT. Lauderdale Fla called Malicious Damage. He played bass for us before I entered the band after the second drummer. We’re at a friends getting ready to listen to a death metal band that freaked us the ef out! 😝Deacide. No one heard shit that heavy back then. That was the beginning of the black metal starting to rise after the renowned Death. Then Frank shows up with Pete Burke who paid for this album cover. It’s originally an oil painting. The dude painted it specifically for Obituary’s 2nd album. Frank was a super cool dude. Always hung out & came to our shows. We were the scene. Parties with Malevolent Creation, Hellwitch, Nazi Satan, Incandescent Rage. Killer scene, killer times! RIP Frank!
The worst cover art is rad as Hell. That mouth, she holding the guitar. Bloody teeth. Yesssssssss. I have that OG Twisted Sister! I am now cool haha, Awesome to see this one on your channel hehe. That Protector rips all! If you want to see the reissue, I just showed it last week. When you sent the picture of that Obituary in our chat the other day.. I cried myself to sleep. Ha, just kidding. Such a great video. Good to see Thomas!
Cause of death was one of my first albums in death metal to listen. I dont listen Obituary nowdays (i go towards Asphyx instead of them) but great pick.
Hi Thomas!!! another great update and with killer additions to the collection and MainEEaxe too, lol..... but come on, it's not that bad, cheesy yes, i have seeing even worst, however the band name!!! that's awful, lol. Twisted Sister's debut to me it's their best record and Priest's "Sin After Sin" one of the highlights from the 70's. Congrats on Protector and Obituary. cheers and be well
Excellent Priest and Twisted Sister pick ups Thomas. That Obituary OG is an absolute gem. Great update mate

MainEEAxe! finally somebody finally gives them the hug they needed all along. sorry I've been away
Hug? More like a mother-in-law forced birthday kiss you'd rather not do, but you know it's good will deep inside. It's a fun record really, and I've never seen anyone show it before.
Your passion is clear. Nice pick-ups.
Cheers, appreciate it 🤘
Cool pickups Tom! Really cool to find OG's of these older albums in good condition. Not easy to find an OG of Cause of death, love that album! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
The Obituary one was not hard to find actually, seen it plenty of times on record fairs. The hard part that took me years was to find it for a good price! The Protector one was a bit harder to find, haha.

Спасибо за видео Томас! Открыл для меня отличную группу MainEEaxe! Здоровья всем 🤘🤘🤘
Hope you will enjoy MainEEaxe! Appreciate it as always
That cover rules, go MainEEaxe, hahaha 😂😂😂 Black vinyl fistbump completed! Almost punched my tv.... Excellent Protector and Obituary finds. Cheers 🤘🏻🤘🏻
The death metal ones are top tier, especially love the Protector album. I hope your tv is still ok, haha. Cheers man 🤘

All aboard the grail train, toot toot! Here for the obituary and protector of course. Class.
The other stuff is not quite right for you... YET. You're on the right track, haha. But yeah, the last two were definitely the best catch.
The worst cover art is rad as Hell. That mouth, she holding the guitar. Bloody teeth. Yesssssssss. I have that OG Twisted Sister! I am now cool haha, Awesome to see this one on your channel hehe. You're cool no matter what Steve 🤘, hahaha. You're a good friend. I also cried myself to sleep, but mine were tears of joy.

The Priest album is definitely a 70s highlight! It's a fantastic album, though I prefer the 80s stuff.
I don't like death metal.👎
My favorite Twisted Sister album is: you can't stop rock'n'roll👍
