You crack me up! 🤣 I've picked up a few OG vinyl myself recently all pretty cheap but they need a clean, one's got a seam split and all the inner sleeves have a seem split but they are all decent enough especially for what I paid. Always nice to see OGs as I'll always prefer them over a reissue or remaster 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Dude, your comments crack me up for real. Originals are the way to go man. I mean, if you are willing to pay the price for some, haha. Quality over quantity as we say!
awesome albums Thomas,Ijust saw Possessed,Kreator and Testament in a small club venue in September what a great concert,Seven Churches is on my vinyl pick up list take care
Fantastic video Thomas, some great pickups here! Seven Churches and Malleus Malifecarum being my personal picks of the bunch, but there's not a bad one here among the ones I know. Never listened to Savage Grace, but Discogs tells me they're Power Metal, so that could be a problem! 😂 That 'Spanish Maiden on Speed' in the background has definitely caught my attention, too! Cheers! 🤘
Oh man, you need to listen to Savage Grace then! Really, check out the song "Bound to be Free". Its the US power metal, not the fairy twinky European stuff, hahaha. Cheers man 🤘
Great update T. Look What The Cat Dragged In is great. Came out when i was 13 and all the talk of women and partying got me excited thinking about what was ahead for me. I think thats why glam doesn't hold up as much as other styles for me. Geeat finds on those thrash ogs. Dokken Tooth and Nail is a great album especially the last song.
Salut Thomas.Great records you showed us.Welcome to hell is my favorite Venom also.Bought it when it was released in 1981.The Spanish metal scene was amazing in the 80's.
The Venom album still did its intended job after more than 40 years, hahaha. Scaring the shit out of me. The Spanish scene from the 80s is definitely one of my favorites! So many good bands and hidden treasures, really!
Great update there Thomas. Yeah that Venom is excellent and probably agree it's the slightly better album over black metal. Cool to see Poison and Dokken, both good albums, I didn't expect to see those. Enjoy the new music.
@mercyfulmetal7324 Yeah, great albums! That's great you were able to pick them up to upgrade what you had. Yeah, musically Su Ta Gar were great in the background, very Maiden like with even a tinge of Thrash! Liked it, cheers man 😁🤘🏻
Hi Thomas!!! Cool OG update..... that was a very extreme one from Poison to Pestilence!!! Not a bad glam rock album, i like the tittle track and that's Dokken's last studio album with the classic lineup from their 80's hey days. I don't own any Sacred Reich, but i think i like that cover than "original" one, love some early Venom and "one trick pony" Nasty Savage. Nice Su Ta Gar are they from "Pais Vasco"?? very Maiden-ish and that's great. cheers and be well
Yes, Su Ta Gar are from Pais Vasco / Basque Country ("Euskal Herria" in Basque), they sing in Euskera (Basque) and are incredibly popular over there... not so much beyond their borders. That first LP is fantastic.
But I don't wanna leave! Su Ta Gar friggin' rock. I definitely want to add them to my collection at some point. Awesome pick-ups. I don't ever think I've heard a Poison album from beginning to end, but I do like a bunch of their song. I'm pretty new to Dokken too. George Lynch did a fantastic job on those early albums. Love me some Sacred Reich. I'm with you on 'Seven Churches' being a death metal album.
The fact you know Su Ta Gar really makes you a man of culture Kim, hahaha. I don't think I wanna dive into any more Poison, or glam in general, lol. It was fun for how long it lasted. Glad you're on the Seven Churches camp!
You don't play the cover, haha. I have a few albums where the covers aren't in great shape but the records are very good plus if not NM. Agree with you 100% about saving some cash on VG or less outer sleeves.
I like the OG Sacred Reich cover better as well. I bought the album when it came out, sold it around 1990, bought the reissue and got back to the OG about 5 years ago, hahaha... I have that same Possessed Euro pressing but I´d love to have the Combat one with the textured, embossed cover. Collector Scum anybody??? What do you mean? Van Drunen sounds like a drunk chainsmoker??? He was one of my biggest influences as a vocalist, hahaha...
Drunken vocalist? That influence makes sense for you! Hahaha. I do have the HRR reissue with the embossed letters, one of my first new self bought records. But I would've loved an original, collectors scum anybody?
You crack me up! 🤣

There's some classics in this haul, Thomas. I like the thought of Venom making you nervous 30 years after I was in awe of the artwork 😂
The satanic panic still claims its victims after 40 years, hahaha. Cheers Sean
We all love seeing the OG’s Thomas… & ‘those oppose will be dead’. Good to see you my friend🤘🏻

@@mercyfulmetal7324 I'll give them a go, but I shall remain a sceptic in the meantime! 😂
I would say they're closer to speed metal, if that might convince you some more, haha.
@@mercyfulmetal7324 That sounds much more up my street! 😂
Thanks mate!! Love the thrill of the hunt for OGs. Killer finds my friend. Cheap Glam pick ups. Boom!! Awesome score on Possessed🤘🤘and Pestilence
The hunt is as much fun as the listening! Love the game, haha. Always enjoying your stuff Brendan 🤘

Tooth and Nail is on my watch list, I think I like that one the most. Glam is a tike capsule to the 80s nowadays, isn't it really.

Oh my god look what that cat dragged in hahahaha! I love that album. Possessed! Bunch of classics Thomas!
Hell yes man! Been spinning Poison a lot this summer, really enjoyed it more than I thought.
@@mercyfulmetal7324 I've always liked that album. Waa in a glam mood the last couple of weeks but moved to BM.
Some cool pickups Tom! Sacred Reich, Venom, Possessed and Pestilence great stuff! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
All classics! Really glad to have swichted these for originals! Definitely check out Su Ta Gar as well if you like Maiden.
