      N G They are known worldwide, but pesto can be bought only locally.. Also they have a restaurant where they serve dishes they represent/unreveal here.. I would love to buy that pesto sometimes and even more so I would love to visit that awesome restaurant. But I live in Cyprus and it will not happen any time soon :)

      Ah sorry, thought you might be in Ireland too. I buy their products here and also visited their restaurant. It is really amazing, and everyone visiting Ireland should visit it.

    I know many people who don't eat breakfast including myself much of the time. I figured out that part of the reason maybe because people like myself enjoy a Savory breakfast and don't have a lot of time to cook. We don't think that we can eat the leftover soup from last night or make a sandwich for breakfast but leftovers and sandwiches make for a wonderful Savory breakfast. We need to change our thinking around what a meal should be.

      I agree! I also like the Japanese idea of breakfast as miso broth, steamed rice, veggies, green tea

    Had an Acai bowl just this morning, mixed it with some almond milk instead of water, topped with fruits. Love that since I just can't eat oatmeal every morning. Would also love to see more sandwich ideas in the future since I often lack of ideas

    Smoothie bowls made with frozen bananas are amazing. I live in South Florida and I eat them for dinner regularly in the hotter months. I just add some kale or spinach, berries, chia & hemp seeds, then top with walnuts and/or granola and it's a healthy refreshing dinner.

      Super easy to make. And no oil needed, either. Just blend in a food processor or bkender: a can of garbanzo beans (or cook them yourself), lemon juice from 1-2 lemons, about 2 tablespoons tahini, salt and garlic to taste and maybe a little water just to achieve the right consistency. It is so much healthier to make it yourself. Store bought is usually drowned in oil. I make it but have to adjust each ingredient differently each time. You can then mix in roasted red peppers or pesto if you want to give it a fun flavor, or just enjoy it "plain"

      Have you tried frying it up with a bit of soy sauce? Makes it almost taste like meat (if you're into that) and gives it a nice colour. Crispy is definetly the way to go with tofu (at least for me)

    • @alexkeightley1
      @alexkeightley1 6 років тому +1

      Tofu is the ultimate mop 😂😍 It's a great sponge for other flavours! By itself, its not exactly a flavour sensation. Marinade that bad boy in something strong! Or use it in a tofu scramble or omelette? In dessert!? It's so versatile. Obviously 😉 these guys have some great recipes, "hot for food" and "cheap lazy vegan" have some great tofu recipes as well!
