      It’s a plea deal. So the family doesn’t have to be forced to go through a long, drawn out trial. He will still spend the rest of his life behind bars. Usually they will allow the family of the victim to decide if they want to offer a plea or move forward with a rrial

      Brenner does have a significant violent history. I don’t think he was a serial killer who targeted young men or anything. He has anger issues with violent tendencies. He was jealous of Dylan, angry at him because brenner squatting on his property. Dylan owning it could impact his ability to stay but also I don’t think brenner liked Dylan accessing the barn, etc. brenner wanted to be in control. If you noticed brenner mentions that Dylan was supposed to give him a days notice before accesses the barn. From what I remember way back it was supposed to rain so Dylan was moving his seed into the barn. BRenner mentions he was building a coop in there. Dylan had previous issues with brenner. It’s likely there was an argument and brenner shot Dylan out of anger. BRenner was a felon who wasn’t supposed to have guns and he hid a bunch of guns at a friends. BRenner is a bad guy, no doubt.
      Edit: I don’t remember brenner history exactly but I know he has violent history. Assaults.. things like that. I think he may of shot someone but I would have to double check that.

    Doesnt that mean more charges for wasting (exhausting) police resources by lying and doing all this since he did it and knew where he put Dylan?! what an evil pos

    • @NurseKayP
      @NurseKayP Місяць тому +2

      Unlikely. That would mean additional charges for every murderer because they so often lie, cover up the crime, try to send police on a wild goose chase. Plenty insert themselves into investigations to observe what is happening. Finding murderers would be much easier if they didn’t do these things because they would just admit they did it. Lol I guess it’s kind of expected for the murderer to not be honest.
      The family really got the ball rolling. From what I remember early in the investigation LE barely even looked for Dylan. Didn’t take the family seriously even after they explained that Dylan would be wearing those boots. The family had to break into Dylan’s truck and trailer to investigate themselves which may of impacted evidence but they had little choice. They were the ones that noticed other details about the trailer and truck that was suspicious. They suspected Dylan had been murdered.
      Funny how now it’s be depicted as if LE was on top of things from the beginning. I remember following this case from the very beginning. I got off track. Lol but I said all that to say there wasn’t much in the way of wasted resources because the family put in work.

  • @jessedewell

    I think after the confrontation began between Brenner and Dylan at some point Jim got in a vehicle and started trying to run Dylan over so Dylan headed for the small dirt hill hoping to use it as a barrier but Jim was able to hit him with the vehicle and knocked him out of his boots. Jim then finished him off with the gun and prepared to dispose of the body in his shed

There isn't enough energy involved. Even The static electric charge caused by people's clothing rubbing on car seats as they get in and out is far more dangerous than phone signals given that it contains more energy and has actually caused many fuel fires.
