Great video on this amazing species! 🤩 I have on question though on the diapause over the winter. Do you reduce the nest temperature for this time or do you just mean reduce the access to food when you said "slow them down"?
My ants are messor structor and messor barbarus. But I like to watch other ant species too ☝️ An unemployed and still constantly applying for jobs, so I can’t buy anything I want like I used to.
@@RomeGod177 I have very little experience and from what I’ve heard they can be tough to get past the second year. Reach out to mack at Tar Heel ants he has the oldest colony in the US I believe .

Amazing video on ants 🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜
Big like 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
how can you keep a hotter side and a warmer side in an ant farm
place a heating element on one side so there is a gradient (gradiant?)

I bought this species queen and she arrived with workers 10/10
Glad to hear everything worked out and your stoked. Thanks for the support!!!
Gonna resort to fruit flies and sugar water for the queen and her workers👍
Are they actually in Michigan?

Did you catch it because I am going to California in a few hours
Do you offer your ants the hummingbird nectar in its concentrated form, or do you dilute it?
I feed it straight but you can dilute if you’d like with no issues .
You should put your website link in all your video the description boxes. I’m lazy, but also it’ll help navigate people to your site.
Great idea thank!
@@antopiausa4050 I have 2 fake honeypot queens. Any tips on them?

@@antopiausa4050 thanks.mate
do you by any chance sell a queen with a large colony?
We have options like that on the website . Www.antopiausa.com
but do you have options that have like 200 workers and a queen? you only have 15-25 workers @@antopiausa4050
its out of stock and you have only 15 workers. I want more than that and willing to pay@@antopiausa4050
What ant farm do you use?
That looks like a tar heel ants mini hearth formicarium. They make some great stuff, I would highly recommend checking them out.
Are you selling one of your queens? I will buy one.
