Rocky is one of the most underrated rappers ever, his music isn’t lacking in any way. He can rap crazy well, he has a great singing voice, his production is amazing, he always has great features along with giving great feature and on top of all of that he has a great sense of fashion.
I think it’s just that he rarely drops.. so his name isn’t up in the air much. He’s got an album coming this year and you bet everyone will be listening. Hip-Hop is constantly moving and if you not active, your name will fade for a bit.
@headassyeah I’m very grateful for it. He performed at a festival last year in Ireland called longitude. He was meant to perform there in 2021 but the festival didn’t go ahead because covid but thankfully they went ahead with it last year.

Such an underrated album and a personal favourite of mine, I've always loved how Rocky has never been afraid to experiment with different and more abstract sounds in his albums and this is definitely his best piece of work for me. Really glad you guys gave this a listen.

He does get the respect he deserves. He’s worked with everyone he’s wanted to, which means he has their respect, just look at the feature list on this album. Honey wasn’t made for the donkey’s mouth feel me, but just because the general public doesn’t get it, it doesn’t mean he isn’t one of the most appreciated artists by those who truly matter
My friend used to put this entire album on every time we’d hot box his car. Pharsyde would always come on right about the time that I was starting to for real get high and the song would always sound otherworldly. Still one of my favorite albums to this day and song from that album to this day. Definitely a unique experience and feel in this album.

I honestly really like that you started here. Everything I love about Rocky past & present shows up in top notch form. This album was basically the soundtrack to my OVAC football team the summer of 2015. Cant believe it’s almost been a decade……
With ALLA, Rocky managed to give a kind of timelessness to vintage and not very common sounds and that's an art that is within the reach of very few artists. Even someone who doesn't necessarily listen to rap, will find their way because this project ages like good wine and will appeal even to very old people.

Idk there’s something about starting at the beginning of an artists journey and seeing them progress that is just priceless. I always got the sense of this channel not really being a reaction channel but more of a whatever Connor likes to listen to.

This was such a good fucking time for music. Cherry Bomb, TPAB, I Don’t Like Shit, Tetsuo & Youth, B4DA$$… I could go on. This was my senior year, getting outta school at 10am (2 classes) and I was able to ride around and smoke to these CLASSICS.
