I would have never thought to keep dunking the Johnny cakes as they were frying. I also used warm water, I was always told to use either milk or cold water. I followed your recipe and they are on point!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!

I felt like I was eating my aunt's yaniqueques, which are our Dominican Johnny Cakes. This recipe is easy to make and it tastes so good!
