I liked the sound of the Cummins M11 Custom Lope 1420 HP engine from the Mortal's Cummins M11 engine sound mod V2. 0 NOW FOR version V1.39 (it works in version 1.41) which is in the SteamWorkshop . Especially when you are standing still, its sound is amazing.

Amazing video, just found your channel and started watching the videos. How was the change between using the G29 to the T300? I currently have the G29 and was wondering if the upgrade was worth it for this game. Keep up the consistent content.
TH3G00NSQUAD thanks for watching! For this game I'd say stick with the G29 unless you plan on playing other games like racing where you'd benefit from a better wheel. The T300 is a smoother feeling wheel since it's belt driven and I noticed an immediate difference racing but for ATS it's not really needed.
I had a G27 back in the day (I've now got a direct drive wheel as I race as well). The biggest upgrade you can get for ATS/ETS is by far a proper shifter like the TH8A like the one in the video. Really adds to the feel of the game!
@@MrAllister88 which DD wheel did you go with? I saw that Fanatec recently came out with a new budget wheel that looked promising!
@@HammerLane79 I purchased a Simucube from a SimRacing Bay a few years back, really good quality and doesn't lock you into an 'eco system' - like Fanatec.
However, saying that, Fanatec has a really good range of wheels (including a truck-like wooden wheel etc) and the quality of the DD1 seems to be fairly good!
I will say though expect very little from the FFB from ETS/AMS even with a direct drive wheel - but you can run 1800 degrees etc
@@MrAllister88 thanks that's good info....when I upgraded from the G29 to Thrustmaster T300 I seriously was considering a DD but figured since I mainly play ATS, FS19, and arcade style racing games it didn't make sense to spend the extra money for the little benefit I'd get but if I get more serious about racing I may step it up!

@@williamtuton6178 I don't think this game is available outside of PC but there are some games for phones. Check out "The Virtual Trucker" (he commented on this video) since he has videos on mobile trucking games on his channel. There's a lot of current and retired drivers who play ATS since they enjoy it so much!

How did you extend your shift lever that far, I have the th8a and I cant find the right size thread for it?
FishPants I think the bottom thread is 6mm and the top part at the knob is 9mm which is an odd size. I used threaded rod and couplers since I also play racing games and wanted to be able to quickly switch back to a shorter setup
@@HammerLane79 Yeah I have used a 6mm rod and it was way to flimsys and I cant find any 9mm rods and couplers great video and thank you!
@@fishpants7764 I put a nut at the base which helps tighten it up, otherwise even though the rod is the right 6mm thread it still had some wiggle when it was bottomed out.....now it doesn't move much at all. I was in the same situation since I couldn't find anything 9mm. If I wasn't going to change to racing multiple times a week I would just get one of those adapters and either JB Weld it or something and have it convert to a normal thread size that fits the common extensions

Hey I just wanted to ask since I have the shifter eaton fuller diy the same one you have and for some weird reason my High to low is inverted do you have the same?
Angel it's been a while since I set mine up but I think I had to take out the 2 screws and separate it and rotate the switches 180 degrees. I think its because some countries drive on the left/right side of the road so it may not come setup the right direction

How do you use the n14 on the pinga w900 because I can't use it
Alex it's been about a month since I started using that engine and I think it works with the Pinga W9 with the Hatreyu link I included in the description but if not there's a way you can manually add engines to trucks
Excuse me, how do you set the sound of releasing the accelerator at 0:55? Can it be done in automatic mode?
I think you can set a button to use the engine brake while in Automatic but I haven't personally tried it to confirm.....hopefully others will comment that know 👍

Munky I've heard of others with the same issue....it's likely since the truck is still from 1.38. Try also using the Hatreyu upgrade (link in the description) and hopefully that solves the issue

waddleduck hopefully others will chime in with thoughts since I'm not familiar with that computer. I've found with gaming that heat makes a big impact so try to get something with good cooling.....also if you drop the Vegetation and Mirror graphic settings down it can improve your FPS
