When you coming to Shelby Nc
So I can see your truck
Hey I’m starting trucking 2 months ago and I see gp transco trucks everywhere. Are you ever in ky ,va , or vw. Any of them you
@@ryansweezy5632 Shelby is a dive trust me Alex, I'm based out of North Carolina!
Alex, just a suggestion when you break the seal on your trailer always put the seal in the trailer when you back into the dock that way that way they know that that’s the seal that was with the trailer
Man, if I were thinking about being a driver, your videos would make me rethink it. You have the uncanny ability to turn normal trucking situations into a crisis.
Well said😂
Let's hope one day Alex gets big enough on UA-cam that they make a way for his blinker sound to be muted.......
Sure would be nice to disable hat annoying ass sound!
He should get a Peterbilt 579, my blinkers are a lot quieter.
If only there was a button for you to mute, hmmm 🤔🤔
@@motarded4214he has to use signals dummy you'll be okay no need to cry about it
@@scottied67lol maybe if the company would specially buy him one
You should consider doing some trip planning, buy a truck atlas and some dry erase markers. Write the directions on the inside of the windshield by the left A pillar. Using Google Maps in a truck is asking to go down a street with low clearance, or a truck restriction.
That’s a great idea for me also
As long as he read damn signs he be fine common sense 😂😂😂
when i drove for Roehl about 7 years ago the company would always include instructions/helpful tips from drivers who had previously delivered/picked up from a place, such as certain roads to take, where to look for an entrance, how long it takes to get loaded/unloaded, etc. Never knew if that was something specific for Roehl or if other mega carriers did the same for their drivers. Also, I had a trainer who had me write down the driving directions on a notepad and after I completed a turn or took an exit I would cross it off, definitely helped.
You have no worries in Tennessee unless you hear dueling banjo's.
Thanks for always posting! I'm currently on my 2nd week of yard/range training and hoping to get my CDL A in a week or two depending on my road training on a manual trans. It's been fun and I'm sure it'll be more interesting once out on the road. All the best and stay safe my friend!
you do a great job keeping your truck neat.
Love when you upload Alex, hey I like when you cook in the truck can you do more of those. Thanks for always taking us along 🌟😊✌
This video was crazy, Alex. I'm a delivery driver and I drive down E Morris Blvd every day on my route. Crazy seeing it from your point of view.
I'm also going to become a fellow trucker, so maybe I'll pass you by one day
Thanks for the upload I love watching your videos keep up the good work
You are about a hour south of my house. My wife goes to the mall a lot to shop. You are doing great on your videos also. Keep up the good work.
Keep on Trucking Alex 👍❤️❤️❤️. Love ya brother
Love your videos Alex always fun to watch
SE TN is going to get nailed with bad storms today. Be Safe!
No wave to the other truck for giving you the room😂
Great job Alex, keep up the good work..
You can get to those docs from the other side of that building in Batavia but you wouldn't know unless you saw someone else do it so good job following your instincts and going down to that next entrance
Keep up the excellent work and continue to do things the right way, folks will thank you.
Believe it or not people come on here crying because he's uses the flashers when backing, because of the ticking noise
@truckercowboyed2638 Actually, the vast majority of people complaining about the blinkers or hazard lights. Is because he uses them all the time. Backing up going forward, jumping on or off at interstate. And highways Even when hes just driving around a truck stop. He has them on all the time. And that triggers a lot of people. Personally, I think it's hilarious.
To watch how agro people get. Over little things 😅
Hey Alex I enjoy your videos, keep up the good content/videos. ✌🏾
You have a lot of time to trip plan after picking up your loads. Often, Google reviews will tell you everything you need to know.
I was born and raised in Morristown. I'm at my mom's there now.
When you asked why the gps changed, you missed morningside drive. Its before the railroad tracks. It was getting you back on routw
Another great video - keep it up!
I am shocked at the 5:21 mark he didnt ask what the guy in the parking spot was doing.
I live in the morristown area! Thanks for delivering my monster mean bean to me.....thats how i get my truckin day started everyday :)
I live in Morristown, small world. It told you to turn right a the light next to Hardee's because you missed the left turn for Morningside Drive it was right before the train tracks on the downhill.
put those brownies in the microwave for 10 seconds and scoop of ice cream on top. that will get you 300 pounds in no time.
I am watchin your videos for so long and so much that i told myself 'did he forget the tandems'.. then u had it😅
Hey Alex, if you see a small yard (ex-parking lot) with 3 trailers and 2 ex-Variant Kenworth T680s that's mine. It's a hick town called Arlington.
The way he be moaning like he carrying all the weight no the truck 😂😂😂😂😂
Live here outside Knoxville... Getting a few things taken care of the next few months.. going to truck driving school then.. hope to see u otr.
Alex you're helping me to chase my dream becoming a truck driver. I took my general knowledge test and passed it first try, now I gotta take the air breaks and combinations test and then I get my permit! When I start trucking hopefully I'll see you on the road and be able to shake your hand
Is hard to get hired with no experience in 2023 so go through company pay school so that way you hired right away after school
@@noloshacusub1169 good idea, but I'm glad that there are some companies in my area that do hire drivers right out of CDL school (that aren't swift) so I'm glad I have options
@@otte940 that’s what I thought too but reality is way different!!! On description on company they may say that or advertise it that way but even swift saying they’re not hiring no experience at least a 3 months, the trucking companies are not getting enough loads or something
First, you have to learn how to spell ‘brakes’ correctly….
I'm currently in school for my cdl's and we have recruiters from quite a few companies that come on a monthly basis so getting a job out of school shouldn't be difficult
Glad to see you're rolling around in a Twin Screw Subaru
Enjoy your video! Mike from Missouri
Good morning my brother hope your doing well seems like you get sent to were the rain goes lol great video
Cool videos, welcome to Tennessee
3:18 Not gonna thank that guy who gave you space to turn? Ahole move there alex
Self entitlement
Oh, finally in TN? I keep looking for ya, Alex. I’ll spot ya eventually. Don’t be shocked if a tanker blows a horn at ya.
Alex, look for Garmin truck that GPS is just dedicated to trucks. I think they still have it but I know there is one that’s available try it out if you can find it love your videos used to do that stuff for 38 years.
Man there’s no way you need THAT MUCH room sheesh! And wow that blinker man!! Oh my gosh!!😊
You should’ve thanked that truck for holding back to let you make turn. It’s called curticy
Why did u not wave to the logistics one driver who sat back to give u room to make that turn if u needed it??
I thought I met you rolling south on I57 in southern Illinois today. Wednesday July 19 🤷🏼♂️
I'm on my way to Oakland California, from Omaha Ne. maybe ill see you sometime on the road.
Stay Safe out there Driver.
WHY DID IT CHANGE?! Cause you missed your turn, homie 😆
Hi Alex greetings from italy 🇮🇹🇮🇹 I'm a truck driver too 👋🏻
Should do videos. It'd be interesting to see the different things there and how the truck stops are
@@slapdoctor707 i do actually! 😬😬
Hey, going to my hometown... Morristown, TN.
0:46 in my 21 year driving career, I’ve only been to NYC 3 times. First time with a partner with SMT. Delivered to Queens. Picked up good ol NY trash to Youngstown OH. Then another time to Roncocomo NY. With MVT. Then the last time in Nork NJ, close to Manhattan, with WFX.
I have never watched so many videos where sooooooo much of the time either blinkers are in or emergency flashers…wow.
You are delivering to my home town and I believe I saw you on the interstate
“Take the next left”
“You don’t know where we going” 😂😂😂
Get a Rand McNally truck gps , then you can set parameters for a semi truck, like weight limits and height restrictions
That turn signal click is truly maddening 😄
I live 30 minutes from Morristown lol.
Its cald a pre trip.plan.should have done this befor you left.then you would GG ave known the wsy to inter this shipping
You need to run trucker path will bring you right to shipper / receiver gate worth the $10 a month and headaches
Come on Alex!! You don't need bolt cutters for that seal. Just get yourself a heavy duty aviation tin snips.
😂😂😂He wouldn't never go into the city. Dude, my CDL school was on 14th st in Manhattan. My road test was driving from lower Manhattan to Brooklyn and back. And that was way before automatics.😅
I'm the only truck here so I better turn on them 4 way flashers
Odd fact: In New York State, rest stops/areas are called text stops/areas. The signs reads "It can wait."
Awesome video, what ever happened to the electric bike?
Hey Alex, my Walter Mitty fantasy is driving 18 wheelers over the road. Please explain the tandem and how that affects weight limits and load distribution?
Question Alex when spread out your trailer wheel apart is this because of the weight of the cargo that picking up in this video?
I haul my work trailer every at its 14ft long work I can’t imagine hauling 53ft every day all day
You are by far the rookiest driver who vlogs there job out here. You gotta do better than that 😂😂😂😂😂
Up date your GPS software that might help with your deliveries?
Alex watching this video. It shows me you need to look into a better G.P.S system.
SALUDOS ALEX DESDE. FABENS TEXAS ....
Use Truckers Path ap.. Driving w Rex uses it. Apparently, it makes it possible for heights, etc. Truck routes He's a UA-camr also but a tanker..
Now that the year is half finished, how many miles have you drove so far?
Captain Chaos
What happens if you wake up sick one day ? Can you call off of work or do you have to deliver your shipment on time?
I miss the red microwave. 😅
Hve you ever thought bout clling the customer for truck directions. Google maps is not truck route.
I don’t know why but every other trucking video I’ve watched always seem to have someone break checking the trucker and so on yet in Alex’s videos there’s never any close calls, brake checking or whatever I wonder if it’s edited out ?! Great video of us by the way look forward to each week just an observation.
I think I saw you in Tennessee
Where in NY state Alex? NY is about three hundred miles from border to border. Do you have milk products, creamers or something that doesn't require refrigeration? Keep us informed, thanks safe travels
With all the driving and crazy hours you work, do you drink coffee or energy drinks?
Here before viral
Try Hammer GPS
Alex you're the only tenisee ❤
cool video
U need a camera on the back of that trailer
There is no whining and truck driving.
generation z grew up on participation trophies for just showing up. Now that they are out in the real world, they are having problems coping. If you listen closely he often puts out a whine that reminds me of an 18 month old baby hungry for a bottle.
Im curious Alex, you slide your tandems often. Is that at request of receiver or your decision? Keep the same miles racking up!
Most of the time it is a shipper request, if they're loading with a forklift
@@desirp88 This seems to be a request made for truckload carriers more so than LTL carriers. Would make for a long day if a driver for say ESTES or ABF had to slide their tandems at every stop.
@@metaluzc well I don't think pups have tandems anyway lol, and local Estes and abf or old dominion I believe unload themselves if they have a 53 on their back, so they don't need to slide tandems.. it's a weight thing with the forklift.
Ik Alex makes a lot on theses videos let’s just say at this point he can go owner operator
🔥🔥🔥
All us fans want you to make 1 trip to Manhattan
dear God, he'd go insane!!
“ Norman” is gonna drive you out of ever loving mind!,
Umm the heart of the south is Texas, just look at a map and it’ll make sense
The Hammer
I could have the truck empty in 15 mins on skids. 30 mins no skids. I'm a former jack of trades All but one.
How many miles do you earn ?
Your 4 way blinkers that you leave on constantly drive us nuts!! You don't need to have them on at all times while parking!
Still no answer?? You're ridiculous
You obviously don't drive a truck. We driver's know when another truck has their 4 ways on they are either stopped and not gonna move for whatever reason or trying to park.
Oh really smart guy! I've been driving over the road for Pine Hill/Adirondack Trailways for years now! And before I went to driving buses-I drove trucks for years before! So don't make stupid comments that you know nothing about! All I said is you don't need to play the 4 way flashers out at all times!
You deliver toilet paper-I deliver people
21:39 I don’t understand why you use two gps. Stick to Garmin or get a Rand McNally
1 GPS to get lost and the 2th GPS to get back on the road again?? Just asuming that.
It's wise having a backup in case one loses signal...
Or mysteriously quits working. I’ve heard electronic devices sometimes do that 😮😊
@@truckercowboyed2638 I didn’t think Garmins and Rand McNellys needed service. Just updated once in a while.
What part of Tennessee?
I noticed how you kind of block those turns mate if I were you I’d just have a plan B in case cause what if an emergency vehicle had to get through but you were blocking that route, just something I’ve noticed mate!
Emergency responders are much more concerned about idiots in mini vans than trucks. Trucks making wide turns are the least of their worries.
Cool to see familiar streets, unfortunately theres plenty of "numbnuts" in Motown
So you know were you are😂
How do you carry cold stuff without a reefer...
I know a reefer is required to carry cold stuff because I used to work at a truck stop. Trailers with a reefer require reefer fuel.
Not everything needs refrigerated duh
Because he doesn't know what he is talking about....EVER !
😂😂😂😂😂😂
YESSSSS....
