Fun fact! It was reveled in an interview that the people in charge of Moon Girl and Devil Dinasour sought out Flying Bark Products as their animation studio for the show specifically because of their work on Rise of the TMNT!
It's so cool how Flying Bark is getting all the recognition and work they deserve!!
Just to add, I'm so glad Rise of the TMNT is finally getting the respect it deserves. I seriously think that show did for TV animation what Into the Spiderverse did for movie animation!
@@Commenter839 Same! I love Rise since it came out, and seeing everyone that worked on the show, from animators, to storyboard artists, to writers, finally get the recognition they deserves just warms my heart! (Even though it took sometime to get there)
Moon Girl is like a successor almost to Static Shock! It really gives me that vibe with the lessons it teaches kids.
And the animation alone is SUPER witty.
It dose feel like static shock.
Fun fact: the people who developed Rise of the TMNT also made Transformers Earthspark.

I absolutely love this show! The main duo is great, (especially Devil,) I love the comic book animation style with all those emojis in speech bubbles, the show discusses racial cultures, LGBTQ+ elements, and prefered pronouns with respect, the episodes have good lessons, some episodes are actually really thought provoking, and I love the reveal that the voice who tells the origin of each episode's villain is one of the villains himself, and I have no problem calling the Beyonder the best antagonist of them all.
What I like about the LGBT and other minority elements, is it's just THERE you know? Lately with shows and movies it's always just this preamble of "OMG WE HAVE ALL THIS REP!" but in reality these people are just kinda there? If that makes sense. It's NICE to see them get rep, but they didn't do that with MG and I'm glad for it. Like you'll see a girl wearing a hijab walk around school, someone had a trans rights sticker on a bottle, like things like THAT are sometimes all you need because that's what reality is-the little things that lead UP to big moments in history. Also yes the origin of the narrator being the Beyonder was incredible I was DYING.
@@TheRibottoStudios I get what you mean. A lot of shows nowadays feel the need to draw attention to LGBTQ+ stuff, or even have it be the main selling point. And while I love most of those shows, it's nice to have one that's content with just letting representation exist.
No kidding about the Beyonder. He is up there with Thanos on the Threat Level

Dude, Flying Bark Productions can do no wrong. If Disney seeks to do more co-productions with them, then I could die a happy man. But then again, the last thing I want is for them to suffer the same fate as their CGI production team and be overworked to the point of insanity.

I knew the instant I saw this iteration of the Beyonder that he was going to be the best part of the show. That cubist style really laid down the otherworldliness that other productions never really present, even in animation.
What makes him even more awesome is that he’s also the one who narrates the villains backstory from episode 2. So he’s been watching Luna for a while before showing up
One of the best things about this show is its animation, especially regarding the use of thought bubbles and signs to express their emotions. It just fits perfectly with the comic book influence and brings so much life to the visuals. This version of the Beyonder also sums up how amazing this show's animation is, considering his reality warping powers.
Besides that, I really like the dynamic between MoonGirl and all the other characters. Although I do agree Devil Dinosaur himself feels more like a side character at the moment, so I really hope they give him a bigger role soon.
You never have to worry about the animated shows being part of the MCU, they're usually their own thing, especially this show. The closest animated property being part of the MCU would be Avengers Assemble and they're only loosely related to the MCU.
Well, aside from What If, and the upcoming Marvel Zombies and Spider-Man: Freshmen Year.
Honestly this show really exceeded my expectations and was actually pretty original compared to other cheap marvel shows that Disney gives us sometimes. I mean seriously I have not been this invested in a marvel show ever since Avenger earths mightiest hero’s aired, though Disney canceled it after 2 seasons so we never got to see much but I really hope Moon girl and Devil Dinosaur gets better over time
If you really like this show you should give Lego Monkie Kid a watch. It’s animated by the same studio that did Moon Girl, Rise of the TMNT, and Glitch Techs.
I just hope it lasts longer than 3 seasons. 🙏
So I looked up Flying Bark Productions the other day and not only did they worked on these 3 shows that you mentioned in the video, they also worked on Glitch Techs and even Marvel's What If... series, so they already had that Disney money in their pocket since 2020.
Yeah my favorite episode is the Beyonder episode.
Really like that character and after seeing him did what he did in the…..he straight up scares me.
Like you said, he’s not a bad guy but he’s also threaten at the same time.

This is kind of what I wanted the Ms. Marvel show to be like. Mind you that show wasn't bad or anything, I just wish Ms. Marvel had the same kind of fun energy, balance between fun superhero action and good lessons Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur have, like her 2014 comic series.

I remember enjoying the comics when they first came out. When I heard about this show, I thought… yes, this is up their alley. Why? Because it seems like that type of comic that would translate well to an animated kids show. Also, another animated show I would recommend is Hit Monkey. It gives you the same vibes as HBO Max’s Harley Quinn and I would watch this on Hulu rather than the Nine Realms.

I like this show, but I doubt it's even part of the MCU. Yeah they do name drop the avengers and wakanda, but symbiote was a plot point in the internet troll episode, and as of now symbiote doesent really exist in the MCU outside of the no way home post credit scene
There’s also Aftershock in the first episode who is also Electro’s daughter in comics which takes place in Earth 982
I hope there is an episode that reveals more about where devil Dino came from.
Speaking of MCU like a once wise man once said: "Good stuff can lead to plagiarism, but it's the bad stuff that can lead you to improve yourself". And that is how i see and keep hyped for the next future movies and TV shows and hope they will be great and awesome. If that is wrong than i don't wanna be right.

The MCU is epic and i hope it NEVER ends, its has a lot of awesome and great stuff, calling it bad or the worst thing ever to exist is ridiculous. I always liked and will keep liking the MCU, and may not be perfect and it has some flaws, normal stuff to happen in any franchise really, but still is worth enjoying and exploring it and im super hyped for the next movies and TV series to come.
I love Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur so much so far and if LOS and The Beyonder don't return at some point I will implode

Yes I absolutely love the animation and music in Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Episode 5 with Mane and Episode 6 with Beyonder are my favorite so far. Also, yes The Beyonder is amazing 💙 🙌🏽
So far, really enjoying this series! I’m sad that Disney Channels awesome story driven cartoons will be concluding in less than a month with The Owl House, but Moon Girl so far is really good and I hope it continues to be so.😊

It was the MCU that made me a fan of pop culture, thanks to the first Avengers movie that it made me love the world of pop culture, films, games, animes, TV series, and so on. And i still like till this day things like the MCU.

I agree with so many of your points! Funnily enough, I nearly skipped on this show cause it's Marvel (ugh), but my roommate convinced me to give it a chance, and I'm so glad I did. The characters are really endearing (I agree, the Beyonder is fabulous) and it's just a fun vibe! It's a show that makes me smile, and that's all I want! My only worry is that given how it's supposedly going to be serialized later on, I reaaaally hope it doesn't get bogged down in the superhero bs and becomes boring/tedious/loses it's fun factor.

I think this show is just a regular thing for Marvel and has nothing to do with the MCU and it’s just its own thing. Which I don’t mind because I’m kinda tired of every marvel property outside of the comics being based or connected to the mcu

There are stuff some people like while others don't and that's alright. Everyone with their own opinion. I like Star vs The Forces of Evil, Transformers movies, even the DCEU, and its okay and let's move on.

I find it pretty bullshit for anyone to be tried of Marvel movies when we go as far as 4-5 months between each movie. And yet we barely get this with DC movies.🙄 And they can't go 5 min without any of their movies decent at best to garbage at worst. (The ladder of which happens more often)
The beyonder episode was the best so far. (The troll episode was the worst) beyonder is kind of terrifying because he's just completely indifferent to earth and human life.
