Nicely done. Have the Cameo 3 and am moving more to digital stamps as the stamps and dies to cut are pricey. Your explanation of print to cut is perfect. And you so clearly and patiently explain and demonstrate. Can't wait to watch your other videos.

This is the exact video I needed to watch I bought some transfer paper and I need to do Thomas the Train and I did not want to fuss they cut that mess out thank you thank you thank you for making this video and showing me that I don't need a pixscan mat I can do registration marks. I don't do registration marks when I cut regular vinyl cuz I'm not wasting vinyl I will reposition stuff so I don't have to use a stupid registration marks. But I will use them for this. I am sooooo glad I found this channel! I'm just getting started with ink jet transfers. I have 2 questions for you...(1) After I print a design, do I have to cut it immediately, or can I wait a few days and cut it with my Sillhouette? I was thinking of printing a few designs in advance, and then cutting them later. (2) I love in your video where you had taken a script style font and done an offset with it so that it didn't cut around each individual letter (did that and it was a royal pain in the you-know-what to remove from the paper after cutting to press!) Do you give instruction in another video of how you did that? I'm just starting to look at your videos and maybe I just haven't come across it yet. Thanks soooo much for all of your helpful tips!!!!
Hey Paige, I’m glad you found this channel too. Welcome to DUBB NATION. Thank you for watching. You can wait and cut out your designs when ever you would like. I can make a video on that but i think i already have something similar. It’s a video where i cut out a bear. I put and offset on it and cut it out. It the equivalent of doing it with text. Same thing. As a matter of fact i think it was my first print and cut video. It’s in the how to make money selling t shirts playlist.
@@adubbproductions Yes, that's actually the first one that I watched! I been "self teaching" myself to use the print and cut on the Silhouette! At the end of your video I noticed some wording that must've had the offset, because the wording peeled off in one entire piece. AWSOME! I've printed one out with the offset on the wording....now to just send it to the cutter and see how it comes out! Been using Jet Pro SS an love it! Thanks for the speedy reply!
Paige Gaines no. Problem i appreciate you watching the video and the dialogue. Don’t forget to use my links when ever you are buying anything on Amazon. I really appreciate it. Just use any of the links it will take your to amazon. Then navigate away and purchase any product you want. It helps me out a lot. Thanks in advance. 🙏🏾
@@adubbproductions I must be missing a step somewhere....I'm trying to do the offset on some wording so that I won't have to peel each individual letter once they are cut but instead, peel the whole wording and press it. Problem is, when I send it to cut, it not only cuts around the offset, but also cuts around each of the letters (which is what I'm trying to avoid!) How do I get rid of the cut lines around my original lettering?
Think I just solved my own problem!!!! When I went to the cut page, I clicked on the area that I didn't want cut, and on the right side bar of the screen I clicked on "no cut". The lines disappeared! Now to send it to the cutter and see what happens!
New Winnie. I have the same printed and new to T-shirt printing. What setting do you use for your printer for the photo to come out clear and true to colour. Thanks
When you go to insert the mat in the machine how did you line it up? I have the Cameo 3 also and I always line my mat up to the left side of the long line... Loved your video
Thank you for the tutorial. My cameo like to pick and choose when it wants to cut right. Half the time it cuts through my image. Have you ever had this happen? Is there a way to calibrate it?
Thank you, i appreciate it. Any printer will due as long as it’s a ink jet printer. Don’t forget to subscribe and and like the video. It helps the channel out a lot. I appreciate it.
@@adubbproductions correction.... Any printer won't do. I thought the same thing and bought an Epson expression 15000 (which I love) upgrading from a wf-3640. But when I printed and pressed a shirt, waited more than 24 hrs and washed it with some other shirts I had done, the black ink bled and ruined the shirt(s). I was a lil upset at first but I'm just getting into this so I chalked it up to trial and error. Anyway, after days of searching google, it finally led me to an article that stated the differences between dye ink, pigment ink and sublimation (which I want to get into also). Long story short...... the expression uses Dye ink, which isn't necessarily waterproof (which I found out) and the wf-3640 printers use pigment ink. So I wound up buying the Epson wf-7710, which I want to use for sublimation.
Just found your video, thanks for the info. My problem is that I have a 7710 Epson but it prints the registration marks very light and then the silhouette won’t read it. Haven’t found a video to help with that so i have taken a Sharpie and darkened the lines. Do you have any ideas.?
pkilla617 honestly. I’m still on the starter pack that came with the printer. You can check my videos and see how long ago and when i purchases the printer. It wasn’t to long ago. I haven’t printed to many large images but so far it doesn’t seem to run out faster than the average printer. I’d have to say it’s about average. Not better or worse than other printers but part of the reason i purchased this one in particular was because the ink cartridges were not too expensive compared to other printers.
Love it. I have a whole lot of that transfer paper. But I cant seem to get it to peel off and look so smooth like yours . What's your secret. Lol. I would just use the one for colored shirts. I hate for stuff go to waste.
I just set my page setting to the size I need for printing (8.5x11) and when I choose registration marks they automatically go to the correct size for that page.
So Whats a long lasting vinyl or what do u use??..cause I did some advertising shirts for a client and the vinyl is peeling off.b4 wash...vinyl by craftables..its trash..pls Help
Nikki JesusIsLord I use Sisser Easyweed. Link in the description. Please use my amazon link. Lol. But I don’t understand how it can start pealing with no wash. That’s ridiculous. You can instruct your clients in advance that moderate pealing is to be expected after a few washes and that they can place a thin pillowcase over the design and iron the design back down and it will last for a very long time with said maintenance. That’s why I love the flock htv so much because it’s like a cloth material and you can iron directly on it when ironing your shirt. Every time you iron it the heat reapplies the vinyl so it seems like the design never comes off.
I have it. Videos coming in that soon. I have to go to work and other things. One day I’ll be able to just make vids everyday all day but I’ll get around to it soon i hope.
I'm trying to come up with some kind of logo to go with my 14 year old son's playstation name. I wanted to make something like how your bear looks . Do you know a site for logos that you can buy and dont get in trouble for using.
Be the Difference Clothing I’m gonna send you one cause i took too long on your black bear. But only cause you wanted special stuff on the black and i had to wait for some material in the mail to make the extra thing. Anyhow in the mail tomorrow.
Why is my cameo saying, some of the cut lines in this design are overlapping the cut border (red rectangle) so only part of the shape will cut? It’s also not reading registration marks.
The cut border is the area that you have to keep your design inside of. It will not cut outside of that area. Go into you software and find the settings to adjust your page borders. You should be able to make that area larger. As for the registration marks. Also in the software ( i believe in the page menu) before you send it to cut you have to turn on registration marks. It will not look for registration marks if you don't tell it to. hope this helps. Good luck.
