Nice. I've been using a wah and a distortion pedal in parallel with a clean tone for years, it pretty much does the same thing as the Hyperdrive. You need to use a "splitter" of some type to make it work (clean on one channel, processed on the other). The BOSS LS-2 is an excellent parallel spitter, it alows you to use any guitar-type distortion pedals and retain your low end. It's a lot less expensive to just get the Hyperdrive though, but that isn't as versatile as the LS-2 with other ODs.
