I had a similar experience with the iD44. A splendid DI and it was very easy to dial in a nice Bass tone without any plugins, after adding some saturation with some plugs, it was amazing. Nice video :)

Why does the VO have a slapback on it?
Untreated room/mondo compression on mic in room. Audio for bass/amps is all going into DAW.
