Congrats WongFu 😭 as an Asian American in a predominantly white town, y’all were some of the only Asian faces I saw growing up (outside of family). Being able to watch your vids while growing up made me feel so much closer to my roots and made me feel SEEN. Thanks for all that you’ve done for the Asian American community - I can’t wait for all the stories to come in the next 20 years ❤

I grew up with channels like this and this honestly seems bittersweet. On one hand, I’m getting old, on the other, these guys have given not only me but so many other countless memories and laughs through the years that I still revisit to this day. Thank you Wong Fu for all you guys have done

Asian representation in mainstream media was limited or literally close to none during my time in college. But then I came across your channel and it made all the difference. Thank you for carrying the torch for all Asian creators and thank you for all laughs, smiles, and tears. My 18-20’s were filled with joy thanks to you guys.

I didn’t submit a video, but I just wanted to say thank you. Growing up as an Asian Kid in America you guys were a massive inspiration. I used to watch Wong Fu weekends when I was left home alone by my parents (as a latchkey kid). I would watch the Ramen cook off episode while I made myself instant ramen to feel a little less lonely when it was just me and we were struggling financially. I’ve been watching since I was literally only 12. I am 23 now! My friends went to film school because of your videos, and now Im an art student! I hope you know you guys have had such a huge impact on so many lives, and still do. I was followed by yesstyle on instagram in middle school because of your video with them, and to this day it’s one of my fav fun facts about myself. I was introduced to so many “Asian celebs,” way before their Hollywood appearances because of your shorts. Truly, you are truly a pioneering group, and launching point for so much of Asian American Media. I think it’s a damn shame that shorts and sketches are no longer the mainstream. I got to grow up in the glory days or Ryan Higa, KevJumba, and Wong Fu. And I’m so damn happy I did because it showed me that you could do anything with the right people around you. From the heart felt shorts I watched when going through my first break up, to the young adult videos I watch now as a working adult, thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

I got into Wong Fu in 2011 so even though I many not be an "OG" fan, I've been a fan long enough to see the changes in Wong Fu Productions throughout the last 12 years and it was a blast having been a part of WF since. It's so cool seeing a lot of stars of Asian descent in Hollywood who worked w/ Wong Fu before they broke and it always gives me a big smile. Keep on going WF. I can't wait to see whatever is in store for you.

Your early videos of Yellow Fever and the music videos, from before you were even on UA-cam, hold a very special place in my heart. They bring back memories of one of the greatest times of my life when I stumbled across them. You guys were still in Uni making these fun videos (Qing fei de yi is a favorite) while I was freshly out on my own. I even had my own Bai Ren Kan bu dong t-shirt made since I couldn't order from you guys at that time (you didn't have a ship to Canada option haha). Hard to believe that is 20 years ago already.

Wongfu was one of the first channels I discovered in the early days of UA-cam in 2004 so it’s apt that this is my first UA-cam comment in almost 20 years. Thank you for growing up with us.
From a fan of yours all the way across the pond in the UK, I couldn't be more happier for your continued and (richly DESERVED) success. I stumbled across your channel a few years back now and I fell in love with your short films (and then 'Lunch Break') as I just find them to be so extremely entertaining and often uplifting. I'm not Asian whatsoever (I'm half West Indian/half Caucasian) but I've always loved Asian storytelling in movies and shows ever since I was a child some 40+ years ago. So to see you guys not only representing Asian-Americans and forever pushing the envelope to make your culture more mainstream in an industry that's been notoriously 'spotty' for true representation, but to also see your message is universal and appeals to ALL. irrespective of race, political or religious beliefs (or lack thereof), age and background.
So here's to the next 20 years of Wong Fu and may you all continue to be happy, healthy and last but not least, just as riotously entertaining and beloved as you've always been!
