Thank you, truck. Mindanao is a lovely place. One day, hopefully, you will be able to live here
Thanks again for a great video of good information! Appreciated all the videos you make, like you advices before, research research and research. Doing that and your videos are a great help.
Thank you, Levi
Hi Phil, no question paying only $7k for your rock quarry homesite is a great deal.
Yes, exactly!
Have a great retirement pal. You made your choice what’s the point in regretting it or letting others advise against it. We all make our own decisions based on our own circumstances and feelings no one has the right to tell you it’s a bad move. I get equally frustrated when people tell me I shouldn’t bring my wife to the UK. Well we are having a great time over here so I’ll choose to ignore their advice and all being well we will retire out there in a decade or 2.
Not all stories end the same way and if bad things happen, oh well, shit happens. We all know this.
What will be will be. 👍
Thank you, and I love your comment!
I wil never buy any property in the Philippines, I only rent, you go to be a damn fool, your not the owner.
Eddie, we are all different, I guess. Take care, brother
How is worth 2.5 million?
Because a year ago, 2 pieces of land next to ours sold for that amount
The people who consonantly call us fools for us trusting our Filipina wives have most likely never been as happy as we are. Too many foreign UA-camrs posting falsities about the wonderful people we live around. Congrats and I get it. You are no fool.
Wrong. You are fools for doing it.
@@rustynail3630 Spoken like a bitter man who has not found happiness in his life.
Thank you, Red, and you are right! Take care
@@RedBart And he never will!
@@RedZoneMindanao you too my friend
Location. Location. Location. Sounds like you’re enjoying life in the ph. Cheers!
I love it here
Phil, we looked at land, less than 2000 sq mtr, 2.5m peso. I can buy a house for this. Readily built on sub division, i am thinking buy 3 or 4 houses and lease them out for income. I am still in Cebu Phil, extended another month.
I hope that you are having a great time in Cebu. Steve
Hmm. You paid 400 pesos psm, and value is now 2500 pesos psm a few years later. Next video: Home and Lot For Sale In The Hottest Market on Mindanao. Not sure the family gave you a great deal unless you are in the path of impending development. We paid 50 psm a few months ago. (70 if you include grading 1000 sq. meters).
They gave a very good deal. It's worth more now than what I quoted. This location is a highly sought-after area and the prices here will keep on increasing
keep making these kind of informative vlogs phil...just watched this...
Thank you, Alo
Hi Phil....2016 we paid 550,000peso for 100sqm land in the sub-division, recently the same land next to us was sold for 1.2 million !!! The total price for the land and the construction of my house was 3 million. Today a small piece of land and a very small house is selling for 3mil min.
Prices rising all the time
@@RedZoneMindanao yes, rapidly rising since the pandemic !!!
How long has the house been built ? as you state only P200 land tax has the house not been surveyed yet ? as there is also property and improvement tax to pay on top of the land tax They use the plan of the house you put in when you applied for permits they come to the house and do measurement of the building and base the property tax on the measurement
The house was built just over 2 years ago. Everything was paid for at the time the house was built.
Land tax is roughly $200 per year, and that is all we pay.
Also, remember we live in the red zone of Mindanao. Things are different here to the rest of the Philippines
@@RedZoneMindanao I have lived there things are not different when it comes to tax, can be cheaper there Does take time for the assessment to be done but they will come with tape measure
