I’ve always liked Jags - especially the older classic models. Although the newer ones seemingly have a different appeal, I still appreciate what’s currently being produced. That exhaust is surreally sublime; definitely an incredible spec - dope POV! 🔥
Savage Geese! I like what you did there. I love my 17 AWD S Convertible. Only had it for 5 months but everything about it is incredible. So much fun with the exhaust notes and around the twisities as well.
Paddles are a setting in the guage cluster. Can be turned on for any mode. Also heated seats can be turned on by clicking in the centre of the temperature control wheel and then turning left or right for 3 setting of either heated or ventilated seats.
Most Jags you can change the paddles to what mode you're in, I've set mine to not use paddles in D but to use them in S. You can set it up so it's the opposite, or paddles on both, or no paddles at all so I think that's what's happened on this car
The car is beautiful. The front fascia looks almost more Aston Martin-ish. Great sound and that color is very intriguing too. And the people who complain about the lack of "pops and bangs" are people who want the car purely for attention.
I miss the pre-facelift looks especially up front to be honest, but I actually appreciate the reigned-in powertrain. Still sounds plenty throaty with a nice amount of supercharger whine, but a lot more fitting for a luxury car.
Got the 2019 in British racing green, this has been my favorite car I’ve ever owned, I had a supra and a Aston Martin DB9 previously this jag has been zero maintenance issues, fun to drive and has gorgeous lines, imagine no more of these after 2025 only EV from Jaguar, sad indeed

As TATA Owns both Land Rover and Jaguar the SwitchGear in the car caught my eye instantly cos i recently just saw your Defender Video and they SwitchGear was identical
The only thing this car has against the LC is that is faster but not that much faster to matter(in my opinion), engine sound is better on the LC, the interior is also better, maintenance cost is way lower and the F-type also costs a little bit more money, on top of all of this the Lexus dealership experience is unmatched! I like this Jag a lot but I had to go with the LC!
Nah - I’ve driven both - this handles much better. Cruising around town or just blasting in a straight line? LC is sweet and as you mentioned has a lot going for it. Pushing the car around curves or weaving in and out of traffic? Jag by a mile. Nice thing is both are pretty rare and are top notch convertibles - can’t go wrong with either!
Not much faster…lol…Okay…This car is 0-60 officially 3.5, and often lower than this…low 3s…LC is low to mid 5s real world. Those are very different cars. The handling also far superior as mentioned.
While watching this, I went to the Jaguar website and "built" one with all the specs I would want and the color combination I would want. Now I just need to figure out where I'm going to get $122,300.

Wish they hadn't neutered the sound for the refresh. Used to sound much better. I still remember not being able to convince a customer of mine into getting a new one simply do to it being quieter than her own. She bought hers off lease instead.

Depends, if all you care about is luxury/smooth driving then def go the LC. But this is more of a drivers car that you can race around. The LC isn’t slow but it’s not very fast for it’s price point

Interior looks great but for the life of me I don’t understand why they used that exterior color for a tester. Seems like the absolute worst color combo they could find.
This is a car where you ruin the transmission shifting it all the time to play the engine! I definitely thought about owning this thing more than once!

My dad has a 2018 F Type SVR and the car is awesome. Best sounding car he has and with the supercharged V8 the throttle response is so quick!

Jaguars are great cars. They really capture the passion of the driving experience. Even the 4-cyl models are fun.

The F-Type is such value for money in comparison to its rivals. Fantastic performance, great sound, drives beautifully, etc......

if you go into the settings on the infotainment screen, you can switch the paddle shift settings to sport and drive.

Me too but I bought a low mileage 2015 for 51500.00, I love it. Jaguar prices drop like a rock you should check out used ones.

drive mode does not lock you out of the paddle shifters, there is a menu setting. I know cause I have a f type

You must either have long legs or a long torso. Even in the smallest of cars you should be able to fit if you're not extremely tall.
