Such an awesome video I was able to do it myself! Unnecessary steps in the beginning, no need to disconnect the front housing stuff or the drain hose from the pipes or the water line or both ends of the power cord. Just turn off breaker, turn off the water, disconnect power lines underneath the sink and carefully pull out. The lines should all be long enough to pull out all the way. YOU NEED A VERY SHORT PHILLIPS SCREW DRIVER! I didn't have one and it took me forever to get some of the screws out and back in. Would have been quite quick and a lot easier if I had known.

Samsung appliances are the worst. My 4 door fridge arrived without the middle bar on the upper doors, so there was a half-inch gap into the fridge. The induction range was a complete lemon and eventually Samsung bought it back. Now, the dishwasher I disassembled at least half a dozen times because it won't drain. A very narrow passage in a plastic part gets blocked by bits of dishwasher that are rusting off - yes, you read it correctly - the rack spikes rust off. After the latest disassembly and cleanout, the top sprayers won't turn, as the bottom of the feeder won't snap into place at the water outlet.
When I posted about my problems on a Samsung's customer review site, my post was deleted and I was told the post did not conform to the Samsung posting standards. I guess talking about their crappy products is forbidden. Just don't buy Samsung.

I agree 100% Samsung appliances are the absolute worst. My dishwasher (the one in this video) worked for about 6 months, and then it stopped cleaning and began leaving food residue on the dishes. I have had the soap dispenser replaced and then the wand arms and it still does not work. Forget about the Refrigerator as the icemaker stopped workong first, and then it began filling up with water below the crisper drawers and has since frozen completely over. It has been a constant battle with LOWES as the service calls seem to not be getting entered into the system as repeat calls so they wont do the buyback. Never again will I purchase a Samsung appliance...

@Thomas Jefferson our low point was a thanksgiving with 30 guest in our house. The stove with the turkey inside locked the door and went into selfcleaning mode. Transformed the bird into a tennisball size lump of charcoal.

Good Video, not that hard to do. I was a bit scared by the many steps and the fact that mine is not exactly this model. The idea is you carefully take everything apart, it goes back together easily. I took pics of each connection to make sure the colors match up and polarity was right. Just don't yank or you might break plastic.
I would have liked some extra info, how to relax the rubber on the new one if it's twisted (Hot water soak). Or a reminder to wipe where the old rubber was to avoid build up.

Is there anything else I should consider replacing if I have the whole dishwasher apart?

Used this video to replace the whole pump assembly after the circulation pump on mine went bad. Not my first time working on appliances. It took about 1.5 hours total. I wouldn't try to skip any steps. For example, removing the front gray sheet metal panel (behind the circuit board) give you a path to get the retainer screws with a long Phillips easily instead of trying to cram your hand in there with a short Phillips. This is a pretty easy job through. No special tools or crazy steps. Longest step was relevelling the whole dishwasher after installing it.

No thanks. No way I would remember where everything went. This is by design by manufacturer. To discourage average homeowners from doing their own repairs. This is a $500 repair job. No thanks.
