Chainsaw Carving a Short Eared Owl landing on a rock

This video gives a detailed look at how I created a Short-Eared Owl sculpture. The brief was to make it look like it was landing with its wings up.
I've taken some artistic licence with things like the width of the wings to give strength to the finished sculpture.
I use a standard Husqvarna 550 XP petrol saw to rough out the basic form.
Then the Husqvarna 535i XP electric saws running 1/4 inch sprockets and 1/4 inch Stihl carving chains with the carving bars.
