I need help ny topleft 7mm bolt wont come out it justs keeps spinning. I have no room or way to stick something up in there while trying to unscrew it to help pull it out
when you had the cluster out, did you see if there is a way to replace the bulbs that illuminate the various gauges? some of mine have gone out, but I have yet to see even one video depicting someone replacing individual cluster lights. mine is a 2011 F150 XLT 5.0L.
So I didn’t separate the actual face plate from the back so I didn’t see any bulbs exposed other than the little LED lights that illuminate the needle. So my assumption would be that little LEDs are spaced out to illuminate everything else on the cluster. In that case I’d say you either need to buy another cluster or see if someone could remove and re-solder another mini LED for you.
Thanks for the video! It's so much easier when someone takes the time to show us how. May God bless you abundantly!
Fricken God tier video my man !!! I just fixed my own. The longest part was waiting for the glue to dry
Mine just plopped off the other day, thanks for the video,I will attempt to fix it.
Of course! It wasn’t too bad of a fix so you’ll be fine. Let me know if you have any questions.

A little tip. Grab a box of tooth picks and stick them where the black plastic taps are instead of a card. So much easier this way.

@@Camsh0ts Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.
I ended up using heat shrink tube around the clip because the plastic is so delicate.
The squeakers from the dogs in the background piqued my dogs interest 😂 5:56
This happened to me when my car parked at the river in Lake Havasu AZ, since then I keep my windows cracked, that AZ heat is Brutal on cars
I can only imagine! Not AS brutal, but Texas summers can get pretty bad too
Another trick for the clips at 5:28…. Slide a toothpick behind the black tabs… slide the unit right off
I need that Milwaukee fuel ratchet 🔥
Only took 2 years of saving up Home Depot gift cards from Christmas and Birthdays lol
Where do you find the replacement
Sorry, replacement what? Needle? I glued the original back together to reuse it if that’s what you are talking about.
I just did this to my speedo, but I had to counter clockwise click until I was dialed mine was off by 11 mph
After my engine wouldn't start due to a very weak battery my speedometer needle is 15 mph off.
1000RPM is your Idle? lol. No wonder the stick fell off. You probably continuously Rev above 4-5K RPMs.
