My mom use to boil the fish sauce with hot water and apple vinegar, do you know why she would do that. She always made a lot just with garlic and put it in jars. We should always have a lot.
That version of sauce is more suited for Vietnamese pancakes and vermicelli salads etc. Can almost use it in Pad Thai as well. It’s more sweeter, and less intense. We make this sauce (in video) for bbq meats etc. The lemon and garlic make it delish and addictive.
