I just got a 80s series cross flow dual exhaust for my chevy hhr. and I'm loving the look and sound. I feel that it makes my car go faster tho.. the acceleration is harder than before yet it's smooth

Both are excellent options! The 40 Series will be slightly more aggressive, while the Super 44 will have a deeper more refined exhaust note. The 40 Series has less Delta Plates then the Super 44 does so you may get a bit of rasp from the 40 Series, while the additional Delta Plates in the Super 44 will get you more of a muscle car type exhaust note. Looking for a muffler to stick on my 2010 Grand Marquis, 4.6L 16v V8. I want to go for an assertive, raspy baritone sound, similar to a late 2000s AMG or an SRT. I'm not one for an obnoxiously loud, rattly sound, but I would still like something noisier than factory. One with less of the "hollow" sound would be nice, but that's not a real issue either way.

If you're looking for a little rumble the 70 Series will get you an exhaust tone that will be more noticeable than stock. The Super 50 will be slightly more aggressive than the 70 Series, but still very tolerable.
