I did and then when to Wal-Mart and saw tiny measuring cups. I bought six and I can pour my powder over my nails and it goes into the other measuring cup. Its amazing! Miniature measuring cups check out kitchen isle❤❤

Love the technique of using a brush to build ombre look looks like you have more control of building/blending how much color you want instead of just repeatedly diping the tip🤔

It's a Pipette / Disposable Dropper that she's using
By far the easiest gradient I've seen using a pipette dropper for the dip application and a brush for the pink gradient ....yesssss girl almost gave it a soft airbrushed effect

you can use any acrylic as dip, it’s just trial and error with specific brands or if has chunky glitter
@@vanicarmona so you can use any acrylic powder with regular dip liquids or gel liquids? I have only ever purchased dip powders. I've never tried using acrylic. I know you can use some of the dip powders with monomer but not all of them.
@@deshawnweidner6596 yes i do the dip method on top of my gel x nails and it works the best for me, i use any type of acrylic i never just settle for dip powders i just ise any acrylic i like and it works the same for me :) my nails last a month and usually because i just want new nails but they could last longer if i left them

yadii mendoza she basically did a “baby boomer” (literally the same thing as a fade or ombré) but instead did the nail with a pink not a white.

I’ve seen people do this scrub method for ombré but they do it when it’s still wetish. Doesn’t your base dry by the time you did all the fingers before you went in with the pink color? Would it be more beneficial to do each finger at a time for the ombré step?

Hi Andrea, I thought I had to use dipping powders exclusive for dipping. But I see that the Mia Secret nude beige is not for dipping. Is this for all powders?
Some powders are a little funny..
for example, Kiara Sky dip powders (not the all in one powders) turn weird colors when you pick it up with acrylic liquid (monomer).
You can also dip with acrylic powder if it’s fine enough. Some acrylic powder isn’t fine enough and will cause the nail color to not be smooth

These are beautiful! I have so many questions lol. Do you prefer dip over using monomer? And do you have any more lifting with one method versus the other? My clients ask for this service but it seems tedious and it seems difficult to build an apex, do you have any issues with nails breaking?
D I prefer using monomer 100%. I’ve only done dip nails a few times and I didn’t have any problems with lifting. It is tedious honestly and the times that I’ve done them the nails end up pretty flat. I actually broke one nail a few days after filming this tutorial but when I did them on other people they wouldn’t break but I think it’s because they were short

It is so hard to build an apex with dip. That’s why I don’t use it.
Kiara sky has a tutorial on there page showing how to do it with clear. Honestly, doing it that way and then activating the clear once it's built keeps you from having to remove the entire set. It allows you to file down to the clear layer, rebalance the nail and get started with your new color. Saves time and you're keeping the client from getting contact dermatitis. Also, you're still charging for a new set yet you just did less work.
Initially do a line down the middle of the nail in clear a couple of times to start to create an apex. Then do your design as normal.
