Outstanding. Once again, great video and job. I’m definitely gearing up for this one. The views are just lovely. Can’t wait to see it in person. My condolences to your pee-pees.
🤣🤣🤣 you were the only one who sent them thoughts and prayers 💪 And yes… one of the best day hikes we’ve done. You’ll love it. Especially considering the payoff ratio
Hey! I’ve watched a ton of your videos! Fun! The hubs and I did this trail Aug. 22nd of that same year, were drenched to the bone, and were seriously worried about hypothermia! We couldn’t feel our fingers up top and couldn’t linger. Ate lunch as fast as we could and headed down! Amazing trail! Weather can change so fast up there!
Whoa! You’re seriously lucky you made it out ok. Yeah… there is a reason we call Glacier the BiPolar Weather Park. The things we’ve seen there, in spans in minutes, has almost defied reason. There’s a clip at the end of this cut that I almost didn’t include because it didn’t make any sense, and disrupted the continuity. One second it’s pouring with black skies and the next it’s completely sunny. That cut was in a span of 5 minutes real-time. But it looks so ridiculous in the video that it almost looks as though the one clip is from a different part of the day. Insane. I’m glad you like the videos. There will be more going up soon. Thanks
Thank you! The hike is about 11.5 miles round trip if you start at the Hotel. It’s about 3.5/4 miles shorter if you take the ferry. But I highly recommend skipping the ferry. Those are super easy miles, and we found them to be really enjoyable
@@EZ2XLR8 I would say about 7.5 hours, but we also had lunch at Upper Grinnell and took a dip in the lake. We definitely took our time to stop and smell the roses along the way.
I’m used to seeing the highlights of this trail. This is the best video that I’ve found that shows the actual trail and what the hike looks like. Well done.

Great video. How long did the trip take there and back? Did you start the journey from the Many Glacier Hotel? Thanks for sharing!

Thanks!@@noBearAdventures
@noBearAdventures how many hours would you say it was from when you started the trail till you got back?
