I have been doing this drills as a warm up for the last 3 weeks and I can tell you that I feel faster and quicker while changing direction and also on the ball, I feel sharper on the ball and I feel faster overall. Really good drills.

Always love your speed & agility training videos. Thoroughly enjoyed this one as well and will definitely give it a shot. Also- going on a tangent a bit, but I recently injured by wrist while playing when I came down on the ground after tripping. It's more or less a freak accident-type, but any tips on preventing injury while going to ground? Cheers and keep it up mate!
Hey Paul, thank you! Very sorry to hear about your injury man, those freak accidents are frustrating, and often times our body reacts instinctively to put out arms out to cushion the fall.
To be fair, take the force on the wrist is “better” than taking it on the shoulder.
If you’re able to go into a roll instead of landing on your arms, this is definitely a way to prevent injuries, but often easier said than done in the heat of the moment.

Will you have any video about efficient possitioning? I highly reccomend it cuz it’s so important in match.
Tactics/positioning are tough to cover because different coaches have different tactics. There isn’t a “one position fits all” method I’m afraid.
The best thing you can do is watch as many full length matches of different teams as possible, paying close attention to those who play in your position, analyses their movements and see how you can apply it to your game 👍

@@alinoskillz977 really good, but may need some time to break in if your foot is slightly wide for the leather to really mould to your feet. touch is really nice, quite barefoot with very slight padding, much like the X18/19.1. The great thing about your weak foot is that there aren’t any special drills needed to improve it. You just do all of the drills you do with your dominant foot and make sure you get some reps with your weak foot 👍

How long do we take a break for each rep
Does the size of the ball matter?? I think I have a size 3 or 4 ball that is bouncy and I use it for ball control.... is it the same with a size 5 firm ball??
It might feel slightly different switching between football sizes but you still benefit from training with smaller sized footballs too 👍

How often would you recommend doing these drills during the season and in the offseason?
In off season I do speed training three per week. During season I do 1-2 sessions but make sure I’m doing them at the start of the week, usually Monday and Wednesday to allow enough time to recover for weekend matches.

harshal rai Shoes don’t affect your abilities mate. Increased shooting power and improved dribbling comes from training alone.

Soles look nice, but they are soooo expensive :(
There's a problem I need help with, when I train and simulate that I'm dribbling against the " air." I feel my body shape is a little loose and I'm not tension if you know what I mean, but on the pitch, it's different. I mean like you can tell by my body shape while I play, I'm all tight up, not loosen enough especially when I go for those body faints and so, my body and my hips are so so tight as if some one is holding me tight or something, however, I'm all calm on the inside, yet I look tense, ain't loosen up on the outside. Also, it looks like I do so much thinking on the filed, but I don't. When I go for one of those skill Im pretty damn sure I can do with ease, I end up failing, losing the ball. Ofc that's all bc my tighten up thing. Please, I need tips on this. I'm pretty sure I'm a decent player, but I can't help but making it worse and not making a single use of the true player I am on the inside.

Emma, sounds like your nervous in a match, which causes you to tighten up and overthink.
Try to do something that relaxes you before your game, then when it comes to a match just think of it as another day of doing something that you love to to do.
What is the worst case scenario? Maybe you get tackled? Lose the ball? That’s fine, it happens to the best players. Just stay calm and know another opportunity is coming. That’s football 👍

You can just start with your phone. That’s what I did. Then once you gain an audience, you can think about upgrading down the road. But right now, just getting started is the main thing 👍
