I got to see a classic on the floor when ordering my T. They really nailed the small stuff with that model. Facia and spoiler looks right and how all 992 should come. Congratulations on getting that allocation.
Cam, when’s the DB Carbon rear diffuser being installed? ......Your spec is off the charts.... CF roof, mirrors, leather steering column, leather vents etc etc.....you definitely need to give us a tour of it. Since you’re the master of taking these things apart....is it possible to have the sport exhaust and change the diffuser/tips to the non sport square shape? Haven’t seen anyone do this yet. Keep the videos coming sir, really enjoying them.
I think that will probably be in a month or so 🤞🏼 I appreciate the kind words- I'm stoked with how it turned out. I'll definitely show more of it in upcoming videos. Regarding the exhaust- I DO think it's possible. The exhaust "tips" on the sport configuration aren't real- they are actually built into the rear diffuser. So I'm certain a good body shop could modify the back or perhaps someone will offer an aftermarket part. Then a different exhaust tip configuration could absolutely be slipped over the sport pipe. I imagine we'll see something like this eventually.
What's up with the batteries running down so quickly in these fobs. Two local dealerships are trying to blame me for not driving my car enough, as if the alternator was charging the fob batteries. Is it simply the batteries dying? I've had to replace them three time since I bought my 911 18 months ago.
@@TheStockpile Thanks for your input. I may demand new fobs since I have the coverage. Today I bought those 'nonlickable' batteries. Before I watched your video, I had no idea if I could replace them myself. You responded just in time for me not to have to search again for this video. Much appreciation.
@@TheStockpile When you say software issue what exactly do you mean? My low battery light came on the other day on a 1 year old car with the same mileage as yours. I highly doubt the battery is dead. Did you take it to the dealer? I really don't want to do that because mine is tuned.
I mean that the car and fob are not communicating as designed. No, I didn't take my car to the dealer. I just reset the fob. You can use the locking methos I mention or you can place your keys inside the center compartment. That should allow the car to reinitialize the fob.
May I ask where you got the Carbon Fiber keybob shell? I ask because I purchased one from Auto Tecknic for $80, it came in an Auto Tecknic packaging but the piece itself is stamped with T Carbon. this is a definite WTH moment.
@@TheStockpile Have you heard of any other “tricks” to reset the key? I just followed the video to replace the battery (thanks, it was great!), but unfortunately got the error message still there (new battery is good, and tried the hold lock for 5, hold unlock for 5 trick to no avail).
Thank you so much for choosing T-Carbon! Hope you enjoy your new key fob cover~ We have more Porsche carbon fibre covers for different models, with free shipping to US and UK!! Visit: tcarbon.store/collections/carbon-fiber-key-fob/porsche

In my case it appears to have been a software issue and not the battery. Either way, not great.

My key was from a seller on eBay, I believe.
Can’t believe the battery is low already!
I know! Although I don't think it really was. Just a hiccup.
