Thank you very much for the video!! I have followed your instructons and now I have a brand new key. I have just one hint for you: use a small knife to take the pieces apart. It's less damaging than a screw driver.
Thank you so much!! Every video was wrong about the rubber piece putting it on. Spend 45mins trying to get it together and didn’t realize the plastic piece can come off.
Only just seen this and must say a huge thank you for it. Struggled over the last few days trying to get the rubber bit back into the key itself. No-where it seemed told me BUT at around the 12:20 mark, you pop another thing out of the key and then fit the rubber. So easy now and I have a nice looking key again - thank you.
Hi excellent vid. Question tho. I have a seal unit which i breakapart to remove pcb. Swapped over pcb to the new part. Lock unlock all works but when key is inserted in the ignition it doesnt recognize and dont start the car. Any idea?
Yes, how do you replace the circuit board on a sealed unit? Actually trying to only replace the red light cover, but cannot figure out how? (W/O breaking the plastic)
