had the tune done.. its really an amazing difference! i was worried it was too much power etc but its so linear it feels like driving a faster version and stable! i recommend!
do you have an S? cabrio? how do you feel with the power and handle ? dangerous? does the car stay burning tires when you lunch fast with the pirelly it coms with? thanks bro im deciding to do it but i wanna know this from an owner of one tuned
@@badtoro9923 I have an S and YES IT IS AMAZING. SO FAST. SO RESPONSIVE. Increased horse power great!! I also did the second time after I changed my exhaust. I did the entire gt3 swap wheels. Front hood rear and exhaust
Just saw this. I put a Cobb tune on my 991.2 Carrera and could definitely feel the difference. The tune essentially changes the factory settings to handle 93 octane gas, giving both an increase in hp and torque. Thanks.
After watching your video I ordered the M Engineering stag 2 for my 992S from Flat 6 Motorsports. Very easy install, no warning lights or issues and a tremendous power increase. I highly recommend. The Fabspeed link pipes are maybe a little too loud.
How will this effect your warranty? Can Porsche tell if you flash it back to factory before service? I have ordered a 992S and would like to install this tune.
Man! Sorry to see your car already sold! Have one question though, I saw GT3 wheels on your car, any issues with offsets? Did the tires jut a bit out of the wheel wells ?
Great video and info. I just purchased carrera base 992. I will wait util warranty is over and do this. This will be great. No hardware upgrade is required, right?
This tune will not produce the same numbers on a base Carrera, that car has smaller turbo and a few other other pieces that are different than the S model
I'm desperate for one for my C4S. Problem is, while there are some companies doing it, none of them have the vents at the front which give airflow to the engine compartment so I worry about whether that may be an issue. Porsche won't sell the original ducktail to you without a VIN so hard to get one - Just wish someone would get one and create a copy as I'd be right at the from of the queue for it.
Very Nice! I literally just got done flashing my 992 GTS with M tune with hi flow cats. Holy cow that opens up the exhaust nicely. VERY Noticeable power increase too. I didn't really have a chance to drive it too much because we had plans. I noticed my max PSI showed 19 on the dash guage. My thought was this tune was over 22psi. I am thinking it is maxing out the factory parameters on the dash and it is actually higher. What PSI are you seeing in your S?
Mine is a little lower than that. Send a ticket into M tune and ask them that question. I know the difference between your car and mine are the size of the turbos, yours are a little bigger.
@@SveltoPerformance thanks for the response. That make sense. I believe the factory gauge only displays within factory parameters when in fact boost is higher than what you or I are seeing on the gauge. I will reach out to Charles and ask the question. It definitely feels more than +1 PSI faster! .S. the S and GTS have the same turbos. S is just lower boost from the factory. With the Tune and cats you and I should be about the same.
i have a 2021 911 carrera was thinking of m-tune seen flat 6 motorsports vids. any negatives ? would love to get base model up in 400's hp without any issues.
Enjoyed the video. Got a kick out of your facial expressions on one of the pulls you did. So, my 2023 992 C4S is finally finished and just left the Port of Emdem two days ago. I just sold my McLaren, so I know that M Engineering has basically a flawless reputation for reliable tunes and hold all sorts of world records, at least for their Mac tunes. I'm considering doing a tune on my 992 shortly after she arrives, but I want to keep it simple. No new exhaust, no pipes, no cat changes.......basically just the ECU mapping/tune with some of the custom options that they offer (Raise Rev Limiter, PSE Exhaust Valve Modifications, Loud Cold Start Elimination and Auto Start/Stop Elimination) for 93 octane. I know you've done several other mods to your car, but I wondering what "true" results can realistically be realized with the simplest approach I just mentioned? I'll obviously reach out to the guys at M Engineering as well.......
You must remove it before taking it to the dealer. Some dealers don’t care some do. Best just to remove before service, takes like 5 minutes to remove.
@@keithmalatesta7660 I kinda regret it as well. Luckily, I stay in touch with who bought it. Great guy and a great person to keep her running and looking great.

That’s fantastic. M Engineering knows Porsche’s for sure.
This deserves a run with the camera on the speedometer.
You are going to make buy 2020 Carrera S, tune it, and get the spoiler. Awesome videos. Keep it up.
Thanks, you will not regret it.
Just did this. It is a WEAPON. You will explore the limits of your tires and all the handling efforts the car has to handle.
Do you have any unwanted, strong exhaust fumes?
man it’s already too dangerously fast… I find myself going 110 without even knowing it
A tune alone adding 150hp is NUTS
You can truly feel it for sure

This is truly amazing now that you can tune your vehicle at home with a laptop. Love the videos…. Keep them coming. Sub’d your channel.

Zero issues, fits like a glove
By chance, have you noticed any exhaust fumes from outside the car that weren't there prior to tuning?

My 991.2 is getting totaled by the insurance and I'm thinking of upgrading to the 992 Carrea S. And doing the stage 2 tune from Flat6 Motorsports.

If you flash it back to stock . Will the dealer know ?

Will this tune fit with manual transmission ? I have MT C2S and i’d enjoy that extra torque but have concerns about it damaging the clutch
Unless you’re drag racing daily and or speed shifting and tracking hard… I wouldn’t worry about your clutch. Not with a 911.
I called this tune company bc I have a manual also ..and they said yes, it's works fine with manual
Great video. But where is the link for the euro cats ?

very impressive 😁
When you did the M engineering tune did you also do the PDK tune?
Thanks
No, still thinking about that tune.

Still have the 992? Haven’t seen much of it since this video.
It has been sold. Should be head to its new home next week. But we have something new replacing it today.
@@SveltoPerformancejust curious on why you sold it. Was it getting boring to drive?
@@KoryoJK No, always wanted a Ferrari 458 and could not keep both.
I have the 2023 911 4S no mods,is a stage 2 tune a good mod for my car?
I would only do stage 2 with less restrictive cats, however best to ask M-Engineering first. Good luck.
how did you get center lock wheels on C2S?
They are not real. Watch the videos and I explain them in detail.
Are pops and bangs louder than sport cat before tune?
No, about the same
Love it!
I checked out their web site. Looks like they don’t support the 991.1 or .2, save the GT trims.
I would email them.
Does the M engineering Tune void the warranty?
You must remove it before taking it to the dealer. Some dealers don’t care some do. Best just to remove before service, takes like 5 minutes to remove.
Do you have any concerns on this about cooling?
Nope temp is normal
How is the wheel spin during launch with the tune?
It’s got a little, but easily manageable
@CarSpecGarage have you done a 0 to 60 test yet? Quarter mile? Dragy? Can you set the launch rpms to offset the wheel spin?
Did you swap out the OEM air filters as well?
Not yet, it’s coming
I am considering the M Tune but will wait until the Warranty expires on my 2020 C4S. I have heard great things about the tune
What’s this tune done to your fuel economy?
I have not notice a change. Always foot all the way down, haha.
Link to the sport cats?
