These plastic crates have so many uses, brilliant. Don't know what my favourite bit of the video was, either the router-bit in the drill press trick or Smudo in the sleeping bag.
It doesn't seem like they take up much more room when they're "open" as opposed to when they're "closed". So if you don't mind the aesthetic of the crates being angled all the time, you could build this much simpler without needing to make the sliding mechanism.
Hi would love these modified crates in my kitchen with all the bright colours, so clever the way they swivel, so I can see what is going on. And repurposing plastic is fantastic. I think the photography in your videos are the best and you deserve all help you can get. I am hooked and watch you in the kitchen to make cooking not so boring. From your 68 year old granny .
Laura, I really love your style and low budget organisation skills! I am currently planning a new office and your videos are the best inspiration right now. Regards, Etna.
That worked out great, you could get a run of those hinges water or laser cut in steel for people to buy for their own projects.. I also have to love the smudo sleeping bag shot.. he's living the life of luxury ..gotta keep your pupper warm!
Ach, Laura. Wieder so ein #WatchOrgasm. Ich liebe deine Videos einfach. Sound+Bild=Energy+Result=Awwwww! LoveIt!
Great project .I didn't see it coming until the end . Without that latch system it would be boring - with it it's brilliant !!! Smudo the best . Thank you Laura .
Your videos are always enjoyable to watch and your ability to design and create new functional things is very inspiring. Thank you for the content and hard work that goes into it
Up cycle! Wonderful. Thanks for this video. The best use of a router bit in a drill press ever. I’ll be using this video to make some shelves soon. Keep up the good work, I’ll keep watching, liking and sharing.
I love this! I have had a bag of spray paint cans sitting on my shop floor for months. Moving them from one place to another has now become the annoying ritual of every build. I am looking forward to one last move - to these shelves! Thanks 😃
Oké oké I'm done!! You or officially the goat when it comes to creative ways to use tools. That router bit is 🤯. Now all yt wil start using this method 🤪🤣🤣. Love it love it. Ow I am taking all my crates back from the garage 😬
Hi Laura, i love your work with such ingeniosity. It's always clever and creative as your editing videos and cool music. Simply thank you/ Merci/Danke schön !
LG Stefan
Some of the simplest ideas are the most clever. Making those arc cutouts--brilliant. Great camera work and editing, too. As an aside, is it a requirement to store the nozzles separate from the aerosol paint cans in Germany? I'd lose them.
hey, as always a brilliant solution, simple and effectieve but well made. of course your trusted side-kick in his of her sleeping ba was a nice touch as well.
Another Great Video Big L! Great tips as well, especially the Jig with the pivoting router bit on the drill press! Much Love! Have A Super Week!.....Gus
Very good idea, but don't see the space saving in the end result, you might as well just leave them hanging out. Maybe put them closer to each other and add a slide-out feature so this would be more space saving. Thank for the good idea and good luck!
Your projects are awesome, do you do your own filming? The filming techniques (lighting, angles, distancing, scene changing, etc.) are top notch! And I like how sometimes you'll have written explanations taped on the project when needed for clarity.
I would recommend against it. The bearings are not designed to hold a side load and moreover the chuck can drop out, because the taper attachment in the spindle cannot hold the sideload and it will loosen up. If the chuck will not drop out and there is no draw bar to hold the chuck's taper attachment, it is purely by luck.
@@pukkimi as someone who has used wire wheels, sanding drums and grinding stones in his drill press for years, thats not all that correct. It might be bad for it, but if you're going slow, and don't side load it too much, you'll be fine. I run annular cutters in mine with no center without issue as well. Granted I have a large 2hp floor standing model, I still have about a thou run out on it, and it's just a import.
router bit in the drill for circle! how cant i think about tha beforet!! you're clever! All that kind of trick have to be putted in a vidéo! great François
Hi Laura, every time I learn some thing new from you, I love your channel, I followed your channel from the first day I saw you, router today is the update for me, but I have one notice pleas: PLEAS PLEAS PLEAS watch your finger Laura " use pusher to cut the wood " ( the must important for DIY people is them hands), thank you alooooot , your subscriber from Syria.
These plastic crates have so many uses, brilliant. Don't know what my favourite bit of the video was, either the router-bit in the drill press trick or Smudo in the sleeping bag.
Those crates are awesome. Some people call it trash, I like to call it "street treasure".
Both were cool
Zeit Für Brot probably calls them "stolen"... or did you give them some bread for them? ;-)
It doesn't seem like they take up much more room when they're "open" as opposed to when they're "closed". So if you don't mind the aesthetic of the crates being angled all the time, you could build this much simpler without needing to make the sliding mechanism.
Jeez, I thought it was a jacket. LoL.

Laura is one of my top ten makers, German engineering is the way to go my friends , you can learn a lot
It just isn't fair, no one can complete with your creativity and craft(wo)manship. Well done again.
Amazing stuff, Laura. Every week I think that I'm going to get used to that, but it keeps being original and creative every single time.
You had me at the router bit, but Smudo in the bag? GREAT!
She has exquisite taste! This is one of the few build videos where no one complains about the music.
Who gives this a thumbs down ? people without the vision of valuable storage great job Laura
Enhorabuena Sta.
There is a beautiful way you edit your videos. Must take a lot of patience!
Very clever idea. My shop is used for a multitude of proposes, so space is at a premium. I always appreciate new storage ideas.
Wow! You are super creative! You have many wonderful things from your videos: ideas, tools, videos and music!
very cool idea about the router bit in the drill press, to make slots. I didn't think you could use it at such slow speeds.
Super nice! The color is perfect 👌🏻! All the time is possible to make nice shelf’s from plastic boxes!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 missing the idea!!☺️☺️
Really neat clean design that solves a needed storage problem and does it effectively.
That router bit trick was GENIUS!
It was one of the smartest inventions I saw over here. Congratulations.
Laura, I really love your style and low budget organisation skills! I am currently planning a new office and your videos are the best inspiration right now.
Regards,
Etna.
That is great to hear! I hope you get a lot of use out of my videos! Steal it all and make it your own :)
This is such a genius solution! I love how you include interesting design elements into everything!
You are a genius. Love watching your videos

great design, working with odd sized milk crates 305x305x280h (1 foot square), you got me rethinking. Thanks, Smudo in the bag is cute.
Very original crates. Thanks for sharing the video with so many interesting details.
A nice use and trick with the hinge system.
Great design & build..and your dog adores you😊
Great project .I didn't see it coming until the end . Without that latch system it would be boring - with it it's brilliant !!! Smudo the best . Thank you Laura .
Muy bueno Laura 👏👏👏
You are amazing...honest.. :)
(The router bit in the drill press thing was brilliant too.)
Very beautiful cinematics here Laura. Just lovely. And another brilliant use of those crates.
Your videos are always enjoyable to watch and your ability to design and create new functional things is very inspiring. Thank you for the content and hard work that goes into it
Love the way you always take care of Smudo......great storage system. 👍

Those hinges/the creation of them is inspired!
3:30 The Best dog ❤
Wow how cool is that, very creative. Laura you are amazing

Beautiful camera work! Bit different than usual but I really enjoyed it!
Quite ingenious. Kudos, Laura!
You are so creative and clever. Such an inspiration! Thank you!
You're a very talented creator
That's quite a unique project, very clever.
Nice work ! I shared it to my street artists pals ;)

Thank you for the creative boost, I got something in mind I've been meaning to get done. This is a fantastic idea! Simple and effective

Nice, simple, and incredibly useful!
Cinematic Laura again. Big like 👍. Kudos for the drillpress router bit thingie.
This is a very nice storage solution. I think i need to copy that.
Please do
very ingenious system! simple and efficient, I might take the idea for my workshop!👍🏻🤔a blue thumb of course👌🏻👍🏻
Pretty damn ingenious! Very nicely done.
Awesome project Laura
is it me, or every video you make reminds me of tom sachs style video??? IT'S GREAT!!
Very good idea, but don't see the space saving in the end result, you might as well just leave them hanging out. Maybe put them closer to each other and add a slide-out feature so this would be more space saving. Thank for the good idea and good luck!
Great storage solution again Laura! Aaand, I'm in love with the router bit in the drill press idea! This is soooo much less daunting and scary...!
Great work and fantastic idea. Sweet!!!
Amazing !! Well done Laura !!
Great project, filming and editing as usual Laura 👊🏻👌🏻
great use of the crates there!
Definitely surprised by this one. Sooo cool and original!
Cool. Great clean and simple design.
Your projects are awesome, do you do your own filming? The filming techniques (lighting, angles, distancing, scene changing, etc.) are top notch! And I like how sometimes you'll have written explanations taped on the project when needed for clarity.
awesome project! i might have to use of that for something i have to build. thanks for the ideas.
also: Zeit für Brot. Bestes Brot in Frankfurt!
Router in the drill press as a circle jig. 👏👏👏
I would recommend against it. Those look amazing! I absolutely love the tilting function.
Me too!
what a brilliant way to upcycle
It felt a little wrong when you cut them in half, but they look really good on the wall!
Clever design. Color pops too. Great video as usual. Mahalo for sharing! : )
router bit in the drill for circle! how cant i think about tha beforet!! you're clever!
All that kind of trick have to be putted in a vidéo!
great
François
Don't do this. It is very dangerous to mill in a drill press. It is an excellent way to send your chuck violently flying across your shop.
Awesome project! Also, the Zeit für Brot sticker had me seriously wanting their cinnamon rolls again!!!
Hi
Thx for the videos
Would you please tell me what is the portative metal saw you are using ?
Thx

I love it !! 😍 Lots of clever stuff in this video 👍
Thanks :)
3:30 - Only come here for Smudo 😂😀 Great vid as always! 👍 I did watched your Instagram stories on problem solving of that bracket.
Very nicely done!
I love how her dogo keeps warm .
Great idea. Lovely video as always. Cheers Laura, thanks for sharing & Happy Sunday. :)
Thanks for the video Laura.
Very good idea, well done!
Einfach genial. Gut gemacht. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thats a great looking studio
love your videos, especially the ones you filmed yourself
This one is actually filmed by Christian :)
@@laurakampf :D then also compliments to Christian!
Super cool project! Are you worried at all that the cut base may sag over time without bracing - especially for heavier items like the cans?
No, it’s very sturdy
