  • What would a doctor discover if they lived with you twenty four hours a day? This series will see Dr Rangan Chatterjee leave the comfort of his GP surgery to spend time with families across Britain.
Kiki is 11 years old, 11 stone and at risk of diabetes. Although he's obese, his diet is good and he's one of the sportiest kids at school. Rangan must discover why he can't lose weight and come up with a solution quickly to keep school bullies at bay. His Father, Mark, has chronic back pain and suffers from stress.
A former athlete, some days he can barely move and it’s destroying his relationship with his son.
Hoshi-Rae is a 16 year old girl with an eating disorder. Her diet is causing her health issues and seriously affecting her teenage years. Is the key to her problems her Mum, Lisa, who has a history of bulimia?

"These are normal, everyday people, just like any of us." Is in my opinion a wonderful approach to teach everybody something about health. I love how the show isn't blaming or shaming anyone in it. I learned something today and nobody needed to get hurt for that. Thank you Origin!

Totally agree. My orthopaedist gave me the wrong diagnosis after a five minute consult. Three months later I was in extreme pain, had nerve damage, couldn't walk, needed spinal surgery and rehab and missed six months of work. If he'd taken the time to really listen and maybe ask one or two more questions I would have had a chance at conservative treatment.

That must have been so incredibly hard for the kid to go through. When dealing with food and weight an appearance, you really need to be careful with the mental/emotional/psychological aspects of things, so I hope he didn't develop any bad habits or mindsets. Go easy on yourself ❤

I feel bad for Kiki when he had to start the diet, when i was younger i needed to start the same diet as him (kinda), i couldnt eat gluten and i still cant but to know that i had to do that diet to see where i was allergic for. Frustrating but he’ll get trough it!
