I miss Chima (Lego Chima = having a good childhood)! Chima will never be forgotten!
FOR CHIMA
I miss it too 😢
Same, Season 2 and 3 were my favorite seasons of the show.
FOR CHIMA!!!!!!! 😭😭 I wish they brought it back…
For chima😢
@@siberian5089hope they could maybe do a promo for it like with bionicle
How did you get such a huge collection? It’s like you own a Lego store or something lol 😂 you basically have everything!
He's part of the lego ambassador network
@@djt08031996 has nothing to do with it, he only joined recently and his collection was massive even before.
@@jamesomega589 oh. I found him after he joined so I didn't know
There is only one option. He is millioner. Money dosent matter. Only lego.
This is the quote from his FAQ in his livestream descriptions, “FAQ:
Q: How do I pay for all of this?
A: Aside from working a full time job as a Program Manager at Microsoft, I run several startups and side ventures on the side for extra income. I also am incredibly lucky to have friends and family who outgrew their Lego and gave me their entire personal collections, which truly helped kickstart this collection. And the UA-cam ad revenue helps a bit too, so thanks all for watching! :)”
Ah yes, my childhood theme, and still my favorite theme to this day. I got quite a few of the sets, but all of them except for on are torn apart now.
I remember getting the lion temple, and having a really hard time putting it together. I swear I followed the instructions correctly, but I must've done something wrong as plates and axles were kinda bending and not wanting to stick together. It broke a few times from getting stepped on, and was rebuilt a couple times before I just gave up and took the whole thing apart. Good memories though.
The way you walk down the stairs backwards at the start of the video is very admirable
I completely forgot about all those amazing functions that those sets had... The thought and effort that went into designing them both as cool animal-inspired vehicles and incorporating all the functions and transformation features is honestly pretty outstanding. The Chima vehicles put most of the much more popular Ninjago vehicles to shame, honestly.
I will never Forget Chima, it was just too good, my Childhood. I gotta admit I kinda teared up during this video
Like you, I too collected every single chima set! Now I have them all stored in my basement. Quite possibly my favorite Lego theme of all time! Glad to see people out there still remember it! What I wouldn’t give to see this theme make a comeback! FOR CHIMA!
I still have all the sets in my basement too 😂 I will never give them away!
FOR CHIMA!
Which sets are your favorites? Like your top 5?
Lego Chima has and always will be my favorite lego theme! I love love loved how they incorporated the animal designs into the vehicles and buildings! My favorite Chima set is definitely the Tiger Mobile Command, it just looks so menacing and was well worth the money.
Lego chima will be in my heart forever
chima was such a fun theme, it had some great parts for castle as well
Duck bricks’ super reviews are constantly high quality, entertaining, and informative. Another “out of the park home run” in my eyes with this nostalgic look back
Thanks so much for covering Chima! It's my favorite lego theme!
this is my goal as a collector
to get all the chima sets
People sell them on mercari or what not if you need link so I can refer you lmk I can only refer on what not but people sell Chima on therr
This is my favorite LEGO theme and probably always will be. It was so well done, and I hate that it was cancelled.
I hope to have a decent Chima collection someday, along with all of the Monster Fighters sets.
Chima was, and still is, my favorite theme! I hope they bring it back someday!
same! its a shame that some didnt like it
Chima had such majestic bases
i hope to achieve the full collection one day i used to have most of the sets when i was younger but unfortunate circumstances parted me from them to where i can no longer get the sets i received in my child hood that brung me so much joy
lego rewind expect he has all the sets. bravo! I love the inspiration!
You are literally a Professor of Lego. Really amazing 👍👍
These are actually pretty awesome. cool concepts for sets that switch everything up. I still think Lego space was more fun, which is what I had as a kid. Space was simply more versatile. I cannot even tell you how many different space ships we made as kids. The big disadvantage of having many more Lego colors and specialized pieces is this: its alot harder to come up with Cohesive MOC's
I had that Wolf Battle train/tank thing, just recently gave it away to some cousins
Legends of Chima was a part of my childhood, so I’m hoping that this universe would return in full force in Ninjago Dragons Rising.
Oh how I wish Chima was as big as Ninjago, I would have loved to see like early medieval styled modular sets for Chima also generally how they could have done possibly other animals and fleshing out some of the older factions more
Woah i just started watching this show again
So did I and I want there to be a legends of chima live in Australia
I see it has begun, the “look back” series is here!
18:12
Missed opening for "they got the Lion's share"
Lego Chima is my absolute favourite Lego Theme ever!!! Love every video you do on chima
I saw this guys at Jacksonville Fl at a Lego convention
My Chima Impulse buy is sponsored by nostalgia because if you throw money at the the right websites you can relive your childhood! Also Chima is my favorite theme
The nostalgia is killing me, great video.
I miss chima, that will always be my childhood and I still watch it here and there. I gotten the lion tank and wakz wolf rider (I forgot the name), I really wish that they focused more on the wolves, bc of how they showed how powerful they could’ve really been, and released more sets for them, I still really want the wolf command base bc of how amazing and how many vehicles are in there in one go.
Does anybody else here remember watching Evantube building some of the sets? Good times… :’)
25:14 Correction - The wings DID flap in the show, just not nearly as much as the raven jets did, which made them look static in comparison.
LOL at all the clutch power failures!
Interestingly, my wife bought a box of random, used Technic parts...After watching this, I can see that a good portion of the pieces are actually from Legends of Chima figures.
24:02 Hey, that’s the one set from Chima I actually own. While I do have a few of the minifigures from the theme, this is the only complete set I have.
I never knew I would get so much anxiety watching this man walk down the stairs backwards
Lego Chima was my Childhood
Great video! I really really like the small sets especially the first season ones: the small Raven glider, the small crocodile crawler and the smaller lion vehicle. I love the building process, their functions and that you can easily army-build with them.
Wow, awesome video! Could you maybe do Nexo Knights next? I really liked that theme, but it sadly got canceled.
Nice video, I remembered collecting these and watching TV shows back in the day with my family, and when you think about it, I just became 17, so all of this was when I was just 7 :)
Chima was so good
One thing I've been really curious about lately when I see your collections, is how do you clean and maintain such a massive collection without it getting too dusty? I always struggle with my figures and stuff getting coated in dust after a couple weeks and it's really hard to clean, so I'm curious if you have any tips! Or is it just a non-issue for you? It could just be an environment thing
he said in a faq that the lego part of the house doesn't have any vents or windows, so dust doesn't get around
@@north6417 oh interesting!
@@voidaspects9173 also you can use paint brush to easily clean models. But people with huge collections like this probably paying to someone to clean it for them.
I know if gets a lot of hate but chima will always hold a special place in my heart!
dude i was such a big fun of chima as a kid and have a decent collection , idk why it died out , my whole class collected these. chima was the most creative and inovative thing made at the time.
they were spared no expense and LEGO really put effort into it. nowadays lego is expensive and lazy. TRULY ahead of its time
Chima was so great, too bad others couldn’t see it
I wish u had more viewers bro, I love ur videos and how good u can explain every aspect of these sets
Very nostalgic!!! Great video
My friends were big on chima like very big fans of it
Thank you for another good video. 😊 I love your videos so much and I think it’s really cool that you are making videos about old themes 👏🏻👏🏻😁
I have a long, long way to go for my own collection XD
Crocs are mostly complete; if not entirely complete
The rest have bits and pieces I need to track down
I got the Chima Pollie bag build that came free with a magazine .in 2013 Chris seed.
Memories❤😢
It didn't feel like Chima was only around for 2 years. It felt like 4+.
This is so nostalgic
Idk why this theme was retired Lego put so much effort in making it and then retired it in 2 yrs I thought they were selling pretty well
OOOOOOH LEGO LOOKBACKS SERIIIIIES! I've been waiting for this ever since I found the channel: you already have ALL the LEGO sets ever, so why not have a look at all the sets from each theme combined? 🤩
I wanted this video, thanks a lot.
great video! can`t wait for nexo knights!
Oh lord’s, it’s been 10 years!
Lego Chima Forever [*]
I ones had the Lego shima fenix jet when I was small but I desdroyd it because I was dumb
I will try to get this collection as well in my future
I miss lego chima
I love legos I wish lego sold retired sets in an official store bwaa
This was such a good theme but I was only around 7 or 8 when it was popular so I only really had the smaller sets and they eventually all went missing or got mixed up in some of the old Lego boxes filled with random pieces
Can you make a video of chima and nexo knights Minifigures please?
The motorcycles in the chima lion temple had a ramp to be parked on so it's easier to rool out of the waterfalls, I'm sure you're missing some pieces
I think I mostly like the tiger mobile command post or the phoenix castle from the ones I have, but I think the wolf pack is just as cool
Nice video
can you do nexo knights next❓️❓️
Love it
my fav are mamoth, tiger tank and chi fangar action figure.
This made me happy because china was not appreciated enough. I hope they make more sets in the future
Introducing Gen z's unofficial introduction to Furries. At this point Lego knew damn well what they were doing. and It kinda worked
I would love for you to do Lego Ninjago spinners for really good video idea
I like at Lego chima bro, I love
#chima
Hey! I love your channel and think you are a great host!
I have a bit of feedback if you are up for it.
It’s really difficult to see the sets when they are all laid out like this. What I would love to see is:
Keep the walking down the stairs and the whole intro!
Even keep the sets initially laid out on the table!
But once we start going set by set, transition to individual shots (preferably with a white background and well lit) of the sets.
I understand this would be more effort. It may also shorten your videos, which will likely help expand the viewer base.
I want Chima sets so bad, but they are so expensive!
100!
I really wish I got into this
Awsome collection! Even bigger then mine :0
I hope u make a hero factory one eventually it was my childhood
Wow it’s really been 10 years since chima was first released
Can we pleas have a review if all the chima minifigures next
Love that lion function to Chris 👍 that's so cool. Ooww that crock on is like a star war s drop ship wow U can cee with the eagle 🦅 how that got the idea for the new crystal Zane s golden dragon jet .and the road bike build is like the Tron bike s
Lovely Chima collection Chris U lucky to have them all. Mate. Shane this Fier vs ice one s dident sale in USA Canada. Did thay sale them in Australia.
Hey, so great video really. One thing that annoyed me was that you didnt show the three hidden cannons on the small spider base set. Because i loved it as a child!
It's so odd seeing the Zamor launcher piece on a 2015 construction set, almost 10 years after they came out. Was that the last time the piece was used?
Also, on the eagle vehicles, for the feet; they're known as talons, not claws
1st wave was the best by far
I have the first wolf vehicle ❤
one earthquake and bros cooked
este es mi sueño, tener todos los coleccionables de legends of chuma aunque sea para recordad una seria de mi adolescencia :,3
I miss having my lion chi temple complete.
I'm rebuilding mine right now
What all constraction sets got combo builds?
FOR CHIMA
Hm. This is a great format. _But,_ I would recommend clearing the table when dealing with huge groups of sets like this. It’ll make things easier to follow for the audience, and it’ll give you more room to showcase gimmicks.
you should do nexo knights
i got the fire fortress aas i like to call it for my 6th brithday and was the best day of my live still have it today
Rip if you slightly bump into a wall😭😭😭
When you said that the panther was an ice zombie tribe i was a little confused, maybe you meant saber toothed tiger tribe
