I agree to disagree, I believe Chima was what Lego needs on it's new themes, a lot of functions, fun to play and colorful with nice variety of characters, I know not all the sets were good, but there's a lot of great ones, don't forget this are for kids to have fun, and we parents and collectors can enjoy them as well.
I'm personally focused pretty much exclusively on LEGO's unlicensed sets, because they don't come with any story baggage like the licensed sets do (you can't help but feel bound to what's supposed to happen in the harry potter movies, for example), so Chima is definitely one of the lines I appreciate
I personally think the Mammoth stomper should be placed higher, it is a great set where its only flaws were because of limitations, if it had a higher price option it would've added more pieces, I think the designer made a great set with the limitations given
And they never mentioned quite possibly the coolest play feature of Wakz' Pack Tracker; the lower jaw actually opens and closes in a biting motion as you roll it along, with was super cool to watch
I got a good amount of these back in the day. I honestly kind of regret it given how many other great sets were available at the time and the fact that they have little display or resell value.
@@HCKRBRO Because I’m not interested in them anymore and it’d be nice if they had good resell value. Not that I’d care about that with sets I buy nowadays.
My question is why in the heck they don’t still use all the accessories of new themes, they are some of the coolest LEGO ever made outside licensed themes or ninjago
Chima is quite a unique case of a theme where minifigs are just out of place with how good they look compared to the rest of their respective sets. Seriously, I hope Lego didn't destroy the molds for the masks cause they are just gorgeous.
@@BehindSpear-throw It seems not quite. Ninjago set this year contained wolf-head (and animated show had wolf character) and it hints that they may want to merge content. On the other hand, new DnD CMF will have a completely new eagle head so it might be partially true that they gave up on older molds. Thankfully, chinese alt brands copied some molds years ago and it is possible to get your hands on them if you look hard enough.
@@DrAhzek the wolf head is not one of the original molds. The molds could be remade, but the old ones have been destroyed since it's cheaper to remake them than to keep them in storage where they could also easily be stolen for bootleg porpoises
I had it, and was very disappointed with how ugly the one side looked, and the flying mode just looked weird imo. I much preferred Equilla's Ultra Striker because it looked way better and had a pair of those older large spring-loaded missile launchers, though in the TV show they were just regular guns that looked completely different
9:42 Man, this was my first and only Lego Chima set, but man did i loved that set such a shame that some Pieces are missing and the figure itself bleached out and it's hands don't work anymore like they are supposed to do :(
I almost had every set exept like 8 or something like that, cause that shid was my absolute favorite lego series and almost the only series i really had. Great video but I personally have to disagree with your ranking. Keep up the great work
heavy disagree on bladvics vehicle. i had that set as a kid and it was so cool because up until that season the bears weren't in lego sets i think so getting bladvic in the fire outfit was cool and the set being able to be a mech or a car was super cool to me as a kid
All of the Fire Phoenix builds/sets were PEAK, i liked the tiger sets too. The Fire and Ice wave/season carried CHIMA for me but most of the sets har jarring colour schemes or just looked unfinished as compared to Ninjago never got into the theme though, Ninjago Purist lol.
I don't know anything about Legos but seeing that cool Worriz Combat Lair in number 34 was crazy but I never saw anything farther in I liked more. Good list and showcase here!
Super duper nostalgic for these silly lil sets, loved the theme when I was kid and I remember always wanting the cool big ones! Loved the 4D movie they showed at Legoland Windsor back in the day.
@@BatFlightBuilds yeah , that’s why I think it is a hard challenge for you since I remember in other ranking that you mention your disliking for mechs , I really liked this video though , it was really good
True, as soon as Chima ended i completely forgot about it like if it never existed yet when i sometimes remember it and it was a fun time back then when both series where around
These were really cool. I got a lot of the Fire and Ice ones back in the day, including the Sabertooth fortress and Mammoth stronghold. A few months ago I won an ebay auction for the Lion Temple and combined it with other Lego parts I have to make it even bigger.
Someone know where I could still get those sets?? I sold mine a long time ago, me and my boyfriend talked about it last month, and his birthday is upcoming, wanted to buy some for him and myself..
Chima is such an underrated series its was just as good as ninjago! Still got that Lion Temple and its still standing! shame that this series was dumped
How is he ungrateful? He's just expressing his opinion about these old sets Edit. I've watched the rest of the video and you're kinda right. He's dissing a lot of things for no reason :/
I completely respect your ranking but I don't agree at all, I don't understand how you can put Worriz's truck, the giant mammoth, the gorilla, Cragger's command ship and many more in such a low position... I can't believe that your top 1 is the easiest set of the last wave.
Chima, the king of play features
I absolutely love the fact that the majority of the sets have small vehicles that split off from bigger ones
It's a neat play feature but absolutely demolishes their looks in many cases
I agree to disagree, I believe Chima was what Lego needs on it's new themes, a lot of functions, fun to play and colorful with nice variety of characters, I know not all the sets were good, but there's a lot of great ones, don't forget this are for kids to have fun, and we parents and collectors can enjoy them as well.

I love the mammoth stomper, Raven glider, claw driller, command ship, the gorilla mech, and the scorpion stinger.
idk if this is an unpopular opinion, but i really like the "technic" look to the chima sets. it kinda give them a mechanical vibe that i really like
Yeah it kinda adds to the war theme
I personally think the Mammoth stomper should be placed higher, it is a great set where its only flaws were because of limitations, if it had a higher price option it would've added more pieces, I think the designer made a great set with the limitations given
Putting worriz' combat truck that low is criminal

I loved Chima sets as they often had out of pocket designs and epic play features and it was a sad day when i couldn't find chima sets

The mammoth stomper is my only chima set that survived out of my once massive collection
Still can’t figure out how this wasn’t continued while nexo knights was
Because the show ended
@@EpicParrot54115 Both shows ended not too terribly long after they released the final sets.
I have the krager commader ship, and its really good but my god is it fragile

chima content lets goo
Second greatest theme besides ninjago 🔥🔥
So what unilscened lego theme are you going to rank all sets in next?
I'm not sure but I'm thinking Power Miners.
great idea.
The Wakz car is my dream set
Someone know where I could still get those sets?? I sold mine a long time ago, me and my boyfriend talked about it last month, and his birthday is upcoming, wanted to buy some for him and myself..
You could try Ebay or Bricklink
i remember there were 2 seasons of lego chima on netflix, is it still like this ?
Jeez, I forgot just how many Bionicle pieces Chima used. Just reinforces my belief that it needed a more serious Bionicle-style story.
Chima is such an underrated series its was just as good as ninjago! Still got that Lion Temple and its still standing! shame that this series was dumped
where cani watch lego chima other than streaming platforms yk illegally or something in europe
Bro this theme absolutely marked my childhood
worizes combat drill was one of my favorite lego set as a kid so i’m a little surprised he put it this low.
Bro your #1 is the ONLY chima set i ever got, got it for 20 bucks at a flea market
I wish this theme would've continued 😭
Ah yes chima. The theme about furrys in a drug war. Tbh it was solid but i only got a few sets

Chima sets are so cool
mammoth ice stomper should had been way higher
Could you do Lego Ninjago (2011) sets worst to best?
This video has a feature that can seperate from the rest of it and become a small flying vehicle
What microphone do you use?
HyperX QuadCast
You know what would be cool if you give the fire and ice sets to ninjago fire serpentine and the ice warriors
Chima was PERFECT
