It was cool I’m just a tad bit underwhelmed that the base plates weren’t screwed down in the first flood. I’m extremely curious what the damage done by the water breaking the structures rather than the tiles being disconnected and running into each other being the main source of damage would look like.
In my opinion it was a bit dissapointing. the coolest part was the windows of the apple store shattering. But you cant forget the effort put into this.
I think you would have gotten more interesting results if you connected all the baseplates together, so that the entire build didn't just get pushed away by the water
Yea one fault with this was things were not rigid and together, so watching how stuff goes with everything attached, even if via normal lego bricks would be nice. Also would be extra content on the way if he did videos with build progress on the way or as he was building also could go more in depth with what is built and details taht just cant be included in this length of video,

I would've loved to see a damage report showing what was damaged. Also next time (if there is a next time) connect the baseplates and try and keep them from moving so the force is applied directly to the buildings instead of moving the structures
This has been such a big project, with so much bricks, setup and time being involved! I especially enjoyed the camera angels inside the buildings. This was epic, amazing job!
Throughout this video I was constantly amazed by his dedication to this city which was inevitably going to be destroyed. The details certainly didn't have to go as far as they did, but it definitely added to the experience of watching those structures fill up with water. Those shots were amazing!
The flooding of the city looks very cool and epic. But I think it would be better if the plates were connected to each other. The water would have less space and it would put more pressure on city buildings
Finally, it's been a nice journey, following you build this from day 1 to flooding it. We need more videos like this. Also the flood scenes look phenomenal. Truly phenomenal.

Watching you build this city is inspiring, but admittingly the flood was a little disappointing because I was hoping the force of the water would topple down buildings, but instead we see them moving and crashing into each other with minimal structural damage . If I were to do the same, I would have flooded both from the side and above and I'd even incorporate wind for a typhoon effect.
I remember when I randomly found day 1, and started following the series. This was a truly amazing build and it's sad to see it go, but awesome at the same time. Great work! ❤

I feel this would've been a lot cooler if the city was bigger with shorter buildings. Also if it was properly anchored on the ground instead of all the buildings flowing away.

That wasn’t surprising at all…like others have said, they just got pushed around by the water. This is like saying “wow! I can believe the ball didn’t pop!” after putting a ball in front of a hydraulic press with no other surface to compress it with.
The POV from inside the building looked like a real tsunami. It was so cool the way it just flowed through the city and tossed everyone thing out of its way. Great video!❤🎉

If you ever will do it again I have a few tips: -more cameras, like all the super cool buildings like the aquarium didn’t have cameras -You needed to drill or stick the baseplates and roads in the ground and find a way that instead of the buildings just getting dragged they stay down and get taken down instead, which is more realistic. -more slow mo footage from inside That’s all. Amazing experiment! This will really make your channel blow up so you should make more of this kind of content.
Ah amazing end to a fantastic series! So may of these builds were so cool! The Shopping Mall, The Zoo, The Mr. Beast Burger and The Fancy Restaurant are all front runners in my mind. Seeing how the different sky scraper building techniques held up was also really cool! Your dedication is superb!
The scene at 16:48 (inside the Apple store?) was actually kind of dark. I was stunned by how realistic it looked. To see the whole foundation moving, the water flowing in, people outside getting swept away and falling between the cracks, the glass windows caving in...the Lego lady in the pink clothes literally drifted by!😱😭
Great video but you didn’t lock the base plates together :/ That means the strength of the buildings weren’t tested because all the force of the water went into to sliding them, not pushing them over. It would’ve also been cool to make the water muddy, so it shows the flood line. HOWEVR THIS IS SO FREAKING COOL. This is one of my childhood dreams.
