Some funky translation explanations:
The original song has a kinda complicated pun: 涙 and 刃. Both are pronounced "namida" (I’ve never heard the second character read that way!). The first character means “(crying) tears” and the second one means “blade.” I translated it as “(crying) tears” and “tears (clothes/skin)”
The image in the center seems to be a mix of two characters, 泪 (weep/cry) and 刀 (sword), it later seems to change to a mix of 泪 and 刃 (blade).
