At the time I think a good amount of lesbians dressed butch or masc just to let people and other lesbians know they played for the other team. Also another stereotype to answer is are lesbians tougher and stronger than straight women?
fun fact about subaru: in the 90s they had an ad campaign specifically targeted towards lesbians! this was one of the first big/mainstream companies to show public support for the lgbtq community and iirc they also became the first car company to offer protections to their lgbtq employees

I would agree on most of the results.
Doing sports is very individual and not necessarily based on sexual orientation. The same applies for maths.
The V thing for bi+ people is more of a generational thing. I think the sign is mostly done by younger people.
