@@73erKadett Still going, mostly concentrating on manufacturing alot of parts to keep the current ones flying (kind of why I enjoyed your video!) We will start building planes again when this world stops going INSANE! Keep up the faith! 🤗
Does not look too bad. BTW, The attitude indicator (artificial horizon) is air driven so no way to test it without engine running unless you connect it to a vacuum pump on a bench. Regardless, lots of these available on eBay for not much money as people upgrade to all electric instruments. The autopilot trim light beeping is concerning but that’s a problem to deal down the road. Good luck with the project. Serwus!
Quick tip on the gas caps: Firmly hold the cap down with one hand so it's perfectly flat and concentric with the opening and then with the other hand close the latch.
@@acerbus02 the engine was shock loading inspected, repaired with new bearings, gaskets etc and received a new camshaft. Then it was conserved to Lycoming standard. Drying capsules instead of spark plugs.
Unless you are a A & P you will spend more than it's worth. I just bought my for $130k USD, with a fresh annual. Even if you are it will be a toss up. Where's the engine mount? The dry tanks are likely allowed the seals to dry out. So don't be surprised if the tanks leak. That's 10k USD in itself. All the interior needs to be pulled to check for corrosion of the steel frame. With Mooney bankrupt you would probably be better to just part it out. It looks like you have other videos so it will be fun to see how my prediction holds out. I am not going to change this so we will see.
Augury! 25k engine included? How about the prop? Not a bad deal at all.. At least 15 to 20 k more + 7 to 9 k Misc. (Brakes, minor repairs, + 8 to 10 k labor…
Depends on how much you can get it for. Those Airplanes are strong and fly fast. I am restoring my M20C and although it was a lot of work, it is worth it!
Guess you gonna spent at least 30.000 to get it somewhere to work at. That being said, go for it if you get it for free. These avionics don’t worth a lot….
Seems you know what you are talking about! I bought it and I did not get it for free. Engine with 1k hours included though. Soon I am gonna post another video
Owned several Mooneys and even sold Mooneys from the factory, if price is right that beautiful girl is ABSOLUTELY worth saving!!! 🤗
I wonder what happens to the remains of the Mooney company.

many years :-)
@@73erKadett ahah yeah it's true didn't think of the camera! Did you end up buying the plane?
@@TheBarzook sure did. For 25. Check out part deux
@@73erKadett nice ! I dont know in Europe but in the US a 205 with a good engine should be worth 150-200k usd
If no rust deep rust on the chromoly cage and the spar, go buy an engine (and mount), give it a good annual, and fly it!
The engine was made and properly conserved in 2018. It has roughly 1000 hours left.
@@irminkerck6124 I have an M20B with same number of hours on the engine. Was wondering what they did with that motor.
Shockload treatment. Everything measured. New bearings, gaskets, freshly honed Zylinders , new camshaft, Valves checked and cleaned, new gaskets.
@@73erKadett Quite the find!

How many hours on the frame? Must check for tubing airframe corrosion bulletin!!
1200h. most of the time Hangar!

Plus 8.33 avionics and nav/com $$>
Prop strike means the prop is probably scrap all the way through, blades bent and hub possibly cracked, cheaper to buy an overhauled prop.
Please repair it.
Hi! What is with your Birdy?Ready or not?Upgraded the instrument panel? Thanks, best regards!
