Thanks my Brother! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment!💯🤙🏾 That statement should have been a disclaimer at the beginning of the video! 😂😂
Turned out awesome bud, great job. Sometimes we need to do the work twice to get it right! For sure I am the do it twice guy on just about everything!😄😄👊👊
Thank you Paul! Definitely was a trial and error situation/PITA! As for Ana knowing… Well my kids don’t keep secrets at all and it was the first thing mentioned when she got home!😂😂😂
Thank you Luis! Appreciate you Brother!💯 I sincerely had my doubts after the first time didn’t turn out well..🙄 But so I am happy now that’s for sure! Have a great day my Brother! 🤟🏾👊🏾
Really sucks that the paint had a reaction, but you made them look amazing Brother!! Great work, I love that theyre actual Ford headers. Hot tanking is really cool, cleans them up so well! Have a great week James 💯🤟👊
Thank you so much Mark! Man I appreciate you Brother! 💯 It was definitely a PITA! 🙄 Definitely worth the effort to get them done! Wanted to show that things don’t always turn out right the first time! 😎 Have GREAT week Mark! 🤟🏾👊🏾
Great job, and nice score on the shorties. Was that a brick of gold in the oven? 😂 The finish came out great. If that doesn’t last as good as you like, ceramic coat over the winter for next season. Great video my brother! 👊😎✌️
Thank you Big Bro! Appreciate you! Man if that was a brick of gold I would not be working on my own headers... 🤣🤣 Ceramic coat is definitely a good option especially over the winter because they would have to be sent across country! Thank you so much for watching and commenting!🙏🏾 Have a good nights rest! 😴
I did this on one of my earlier videos. I followed instructions on curing the headers on the car. It worked out decent. I wish I had done the satin clear. That looks awesome.
Hey OG! The headers turned out great! I like your more natural looking finish. Is the hot tanking the same type of business that dips car bodies? I didn't know there were places that do that. Was it done at a chrome plating/restoration shop? Interesting!!👍👍
Hey Todd! It was done at a machine shop. It is similar to the dips for car bodies. I think they did a combination of that and using a blasting machine that uses beads of some kind. But it stripped it down to the bear metal so I could cost it myself.
I did this on mine as well With the same paint and all the paint came off within 2 minutes of start up.i was so disappointed. But i didn’t baked them so u guess it was something i didn’t think of. Really sucks as it was the first fire on a new build
You forgot one thing on the caution list, never let the wife know you used the house oven for car parts 😆 nice work, the headers look great

The headers came out AWESOME the 2nd time, but I'm with MJI - don't tell Ana 😇

@ogsuperflygarage thanks Brother James, you have yourself a great week too.
Nicely done! That finish should last a good while!
Thank you VRM! Following those baking instructions should in theory cure it properly so it will stand the test of heat and time! 😁

Awesome job, brother! They look dope and they're gonna sound amazing.
Thank you Brother! I appreciate you watching! I can't wait to hear how they sound!!
Nice work! Sucks that you had to redo it, but that is part of DIY projects. Turned out fantastic!
Thank you Jason! I always appreciate you Brother! I agree... It is the way of the DIY Jedi..🤣🤣

That does suck! I am sorry that happened to you Bro! If that happens I will have them powder coated or just run them in the natural finish! 💯👊🏾
