    hey RGS the three stokkebeyes Twist flake, Bullseye and Navy flake are three of my favorites and brother you hit that review so perfectly I just sat there nodding my head yes the whole time! Sounds like I'm going to have to give this a try. You could be sensitive to cavendish containing blends. I played with removing the black cavendish disc from the Bullseye and liking it better. Going to save all these discs and use them in a bowl just by themselves to see what the exact flavor is. There was someone on you tube that did this and he said he tasted absolutely nothing from a bowl of the center black cav at all, hard to believe. Glad I found this video even if it is 4 years old. Ride safe, I'm a rider too, been at it since eight years old.

    Thanks for the video. Time to get busy.
    I will be experimenting with stoving, blending, and pressing.
    Keep it between the ditches.

    Fantastic breakdown of the differences the stoving process imparts on an already good tobacco. I used your method some 40 Virginia I just loaded in a pipe tonight for the first time. OMG what a fantastic difference it made. I'll be doing this more often.

      Amazing what a little cook will do for a baccy blend. Glad you enjoyed it and tried it.

    I've been meaning to get around to home-stoving. Sounds like a particularly good idea now. Thanks for the info and have a good one!

      Totally worth the effort (no real effort at all). Thanks for watching!

      Works great. I’ve done several Peter Stokkebye blends. Something about those blends give me tongue burn on the char light. After stoving I love them.

      So do I. I actually want to start collecting the other shapes in the Trevi line. First up I think is going to be a 311 I think. Would buy one tomorrow if they offered the 642 but I don’t think they do. Thanks for watching brother!

    Could you stove ribbon cut tobacco as well?

    • @RoadGlideSully
      @RoadGlideSully  5 років тому

      I don't see why not. I don't think it matters how they are cut. Shouldn't be able to stove pretty much anything with Va's. Worst case you won't like it and you live and learn. :)
