UPDATE: My centercap and cover look identical. However, my 2018 Coachman Freelander E450 does not have lugs to keep cover on. The whole thing just pried off like a regular wheel cover.
I have the same cover on mine but it is grip type no threaded nuts wish it did keeps from losing them so I used a stainless tie strap for keeping them on
Not a real fine day as you know...I'm here to learn to remove the chrome cover...which means one thing...flat tires lol Saw your other video in the rest area and searched for this one lol
Yea. I've got more experience doing this than I ever wanted to have, but since then I've acquired the right jacks, wrenches and having done the brakes on the rear of the RV have gotten much more comfortable with doing this kind of thing, in case it ever happens again out on the road. I don't wish this on anyone I can tell you that.
Yep i would have made the same mistake, i would assume that the shiney part was the wheel, but it's just a fancy bling part. Shame it got damaged as the wheels look really nice with chrome like covers. That spare wheel looked like a bloody pain to remove, even i would not like to struggle with that and i'm a couple of years younger than you :-D
OMG, you realized how much headache you just saved me?? Thank you so much!!!
Happy to help!
Thank you very much
You are welcome. Thanks for visiting.
Mine doesn't have grooves in the two removable lugs. How do I know which to remove!

Yeah..I knew that..wish I would have been there!
Me too...
You saved me from making a twin to yours.
Good deal..

The replacement I ordered is a grip type, but I might figure out how to use the threaded nuts on it. We'll see..
I don’t have time for this. I gotta go strain some gravel!!
hahahahahaha.... Yea Baby..

And there I was thinking that you knew almost everything about anything mechanical, DANG! Don't worry I'll get over it.
I learn by doing things wrong. Doesn't everybody do that or is it just me. ?
