Day 5 (In front Judge) - You didnt abide that law and under the sections !%$? you are liable to pay INR. 5000/- (USD. 70) to the court. Your honor, I can't pay USD. 70/- can you please reduce the fine. Judge - Your fine got doubled for disagreeing my orders and you been sending for a weeks trial for learning traffic rules & regulations. Defaulter - Damn !! Wtf my bad..

Judge has a heart of gold. He honoured the departed veterans story with patience & gave a judgment that no one will forget. City lost 100$ but gained some reparations owed to veterans who are in such financial distress I wish our Indian judges are like this.
I believe there isn't another Judge with the enormous compassion and intense feelings like Judge Caprio.. That was apparent in the case of the grief stricken widow. What a fine human being he is... Amazing.

I feel for this poor woman you can see she had so much pent-up stuff inside her that she just had to let it out right there in that room and our beloved judge did nothing but listen to her you can see the compassion in his eyes and that he wanted to reach out and hug her what a wonderful man
This is the best judge ever! He really takes the time to know people finally somebody from the law that knows we are all human! There are so many people that are going through tough times and unfortunate circumstances, this judge should have a class for other law enforcement on how to treat others as human beings I suffer with COMPLEX PTSD and a lot of it comes from law enforcement! But I give credit when credit is due and this judge definitely deserves an award for being fair- compassionate- and a gewine human being!

The second guy obviously was planning to continue parking overnight so he didn't care about dismissing this one as he knew he will get more. He wanted to make a more staple point so he can have an excuse he could always use for future tickets.
He is right though. I found the rules and regulations for overnight parking that he had and it says that those supersede and replace any rules previously on the books.
I don't know about Province, but the rule "can't park overnight without parking permit" makes me think this city milk so much money from the residents (or I can say "greedy governor"). There must be many people feel that way, but they didn't speak up in Province. This guy is actually brave enough to use their own rule against the ridiculous rule

He probably WAS smarter than the judge. He was referencing up to date city ordinances while the judge could only say "OH YEA BUT THIS BOOK!". Notice how Caprio never actually says the website is wrong or that what the man is referencing is nonsense, he simply says that the book has the ordinances and never actually challenges his claims. He tries really hard to get the man to pay money to the state and when he sees he won't be able to extort the man, he sets it to trial. Most likely the man won the trial and Caprio didn't want to embarrass himself on his own program.

The specific, up to date ordinances that were apparently on the website seemed to contradict what the judge knew which is why the man came back for trial. It looks like he's still operating in Providence so it looks like he won.

"whatsoever, it's not allowed to park overnight" was what the judge said on top of the guy's argument. But the judge won't bother to argue with a predetermined smartass because it's a prosecutor's job, not his, that's why the judge sets for trial.
this judge has a discerning mind, demonstrates wisdom that go beyond what he heard and seen and he has ability to decide between thruth and error, right and wrong , this judge makes careful distinction in thinking about truth and it takes a lot of wisdom for him to do that .he is very Merciful , i hope and pray that God will give you a very long life because we need more good human being like you in this world .
This is a perfect example of proving that this is a world where people condemn the one who finds the problem. The law is ambiguous and unclear itself if what he said was true, I dont understand why you find it disturbing if he wanted to defend himself.
